The delaying of Kit and Kat could also be a function of the whole Mattel factory fiasco (assuming it’s a choice between using that factory and retooling at another).

I don't know if the Mattel Factory will have anything to do with it.
If I remember correctly when wave two was first being offered Sebastiaan thought he saw kit & Kat off to the side in a photo where it was showing Super7's set up to take pictures of wave two figures.
No way will Brian use the Mattel factory for anything Thundercats after how they delayed Wave two.
Since Super7 retooled the Lion-o figure I'm sure they will tool their own Wiley Kit & Wiley Kat. Besides Super7 needs to tool a Snarf figure too.
Not sure how Super7 plans to release Kit & Kat but a two pack with Snarf and a few of the Kittens accessories could work.

I agree with that. I recently spoke to somebody about the Berserkers and because I had the LJN toys I never remembered their cartoon bodies - even though I watch the cartoon religiously! It wasn't until after that conversation that I paid attention to it. Hammerhand has been called out for being too small, but in fact, the S7 version is very close to the cartoon, so he is correct and shouldn't be as buffed up as the toy version. I fear we may get complaints from others in the future that the Berserkers may be too skinny, when in fact, some of them were!

In terms of K&K, I do wonder how S7 will release them. Separately? As a combo? If apart, what kind of accessories will they include? I guess the same argument can be made for Snarf that was used for Krang from TMNT. They can all be released on their own. Guess we'll see if any of them appear next. I'd love all three!!! But I highly doubt that.

I agree. Hammerhand is perfect and top spinner was a midget and cruncher was a toothpick, so I hope they make them match the cartoon as much as possible.

My personal opinion about K&K is we already have the Mattel version so who cares, but I know they were favorite characters to others so I hope they get what they want.

As for snarf, a good comparison for what will be done by super 7 would be whatever was done for Orko for MOTUC line I imagine, was Orko released solo?

Correct, Wilykat was indeed in those photos. There was a photo with other figures on the side that could be anything.
It is very possible that K&K’s delay in appearance has something to do with the Mattel fiasco. Then again, it may absolutely not. Hear me out: S7 intended to get all of the unmade core characters out first because they were more important to collectors who had the Matty ones. (Not saying they are in the majority!) But knowing these exist may have made them less desireable. But now that they’re through those fan demanded ones (sans Snarf), they are high on people’s lists again so maybe they were left for later deliberately. I would say that’s the best call.
Regarding Snarf - comparing him to Orko’s release is not the right way of looking at it given that Krang, who is roughly the size of Orko, maybe smaller, got released solo! If Krang could do it, Snarf would too. I wonder if he will be bulky like the LJN companions figure? His head alone would be big and I wonder if they’ll add anything more than one extra head in. Not sure if there will be space for 3!!! I would love it if he came with Snarfer, but he may then come solo too if you consider his scale to Krang’s.

Krang has that walker though which instantly makes him comparable to a full size figure. Snarf does not have a similar accessory, although as a base figure will require more articulation than Krang.

Also Krang ia smaller than Snarf’s face, Snarf still has a body to go with it and a tail, so it may still match a figure the size of a kitten.

A Snarf and Snarfer two pack with a couple different heads and accessories would be my dream way of having them be released. Even if it costs a little more than $55.

Probably about getting the original molds from the Mattel factory. Practically, it will be easier if S7 gets the OG molds rather than design new molds.

Tough to call, here's my list, a mixture of stuff I would particularly like to see and what seems most likely:

Mandora
Hachiman
Rataro
Alluro

On another note, it is interesting to consider how they may handle Snarf when they do finally make him part of a wave. Maybe packing him with Kit and Kat could be interesting or pack him with Snarfer? Or they'll just load him up with whacky accessories and sell him as a solo figure. Personally, I am looking forward to Snarf. I know he is often the butt of many jokes in the fan community but I've always loved him as an indispensable, classic member of the cast.

It could be this month with Toy Fair, or Brian could be waiting until Waves 2 & 4 hit the USA to start shipping to customers.

Tmnt 7 is coming mid to late Feb. I’d wager W6 follows that. Unless SilverHawks goes first. But by end Feb W4 should’ve started shipping at least. So yes maybe mid March or mid April. We may though get a tease during their “Super7 Days of teasers” or we may not? Who knows?

Now they Super7 has given us Mandora & her Electro-Charger i'll change my guess

Just Rataro?
Super7 releases waves of four figures. What would your other three guesses be?

Not until they are finished shipping out waves 2 & 4 to all customers. If I had to guess Wave 6 will be shown Jun or July. Maybe as a SDCC reveal.

I would love to have the Ro-Ber group feature in Wave 6. Rataro as well.
#40
Well looks like we were all wrong and wave 6 is all toy repaints. What a disappointment. First wave I'll be completely skipping.
