Guess Wave 6

Such garbage. Not purchasing a single one. Who are these for even??

I figured they'd do these once they ran out of main characters, not this soon. I'll be 70 by the time we get all of the cartoon characters that I want. Especially since you know they won't just stop at these 4, they'll have to do at least Panthro, Tygra, Jackleman and Slythe as well - probably wave 8 if I had to guess.

Skipping this wave. I don't even own or played any LJN figures to give myself an Ultimates update nostalgia. It most probably the Wave 2 Tygra was to be added here.

Just my personal opinion, but this is just garbage! Wave 6 is a total pile of crap. Where the heck is Wily Kit/Kat? Where is Snarf? Guess, what. I'm done with Super7 and I'm done with this line. I'm selling everything of

Are they having a rough time getting the licenses for these last 3 main characters? I suspect they do. They'll also probably make the LJN variants for up to 4 waves more so the Kitkats and Snarf will be previewed around Wave 11?

Gonna admit, Wave 6 is anti-climatic with these variants. No need to be posting Wave guesses in the future for starters since we all know it's gonna be another set of LJN variants of the first 5 waves.

They did these well for what they are.

I am disappointed to see a whole wave of them yes, but I am also patient in my collecting and there are definitely fans out there that will be very excited with these. Toy styled figures in other lines do very well. This makes 3 of the 6 waves with a Lion-O already. This is supposed to be a long game and they have to make business decisions to get us there, this is one of those. Maybe it ends up being the wrong decision, but you're not seeing these because they want to make you wait, you're seeing them because they felt this wave made sense next.

They deleted the Instagram post. Maybe they are seeing the flood of negative comments and will decide to add some cartoon version figures to this wave as well? That would be ideal.

They deleted the Twitter post too

The pre-order links on their website are also down. I don’t know that the Thundercats cartoon toy collector and the Thundercats LJN collector are the same person. I have purchased every wave to date, along with the Thundertank and Mandora’s bike, but I have zero interest in any LJN inspired toys. I don’t see why they couldn’t release these lines simultaneously. I’d hate for the LJN versions to cut into the real waves, and that gives me concern that we won’t get to the deep cut characters I really want if Brian only has 9 or 10 waves planned and now LJN versions are included in those. I still want all these guys which would be another 7 waves.

I think these LJN coloured figures look really nice.

They just sent out an email saying they had jumped the gun on posting wave six. I bet you anything the negative feedback has caused them to change up the waves. I think what they were doing with the LJ in inspired wave was okay to be a side option for people who are interested in those, but not an entire wave.

Yeah, make those “Thundercats Classics” or something. Don’t make them take the place of our main line.

They should've all stayed as variants like what we all said a week ago.

They look great, but unfortunately, I don't need LJN versions, so I'll be skipping wave 6 and Looking forward to wave 7 providing the figures in Wave 7 are Animated Thundercat's Ultimate's. Bring on Wilykat , WilyKit, Snarff, Rataro/Ratilla, Safari Joe.

While it might not be perfect and I know I have been quite critical on a lot of Super 7's Thundercats figures, I honestly quite like the look of this wave. The vintage LJN Mumm-Ra was the first Thundercats figure I ever got and I recall how happy I was when I finally got the LJN Lion-O as he was one of the most difficult for me to get here and how long i used to look at the photo on the card back of Lion-O showing the battle-mattic action.
Of all the Super 7 figures released/shown so far these are probably my favourites.

I thought they might mix and match a bit more, but we will see. They are obviously a very responsive company so maybe they will change it up. I'm tempted by these because they are so well done and some other pieces of ThunderCats fiction took some toy inspiration but I also am a pass as there is just too much other good stuff out there right now.

I think these look great for what they are. I don't think they are something I'm looking for, though.

I don't think I want to double up on molds or characters and I don't have a ton of nostalgia for the LJN figures as I never owned them although I did look at them a lot at the store. I really love the TMNT Ultimates with their toy styling, but that's probably because I had them and despite all the media over the years - movies, tv, comics, etc. when I think of the Turtles, those are what I think of first. When I think of Thundercats, though, I think of the cartoon first.

Probably Super7 is hoping to make some easy cash by extending use of molds that they already have. Every toy company does that, so it's not a specific complaint on them. I do wish this was more of a side wave and at least give us Wily Kit and Kat, Snarf and maybe RatarO? I'd love some Lunateks too. I thought we were on good track with Mandora to fill out the cast. I guess we'll see what comes next.

Again, I still think these look cool, but just not something I'm looking for (at least not at Ultimates pricing). Hope there are those who do enjoy them, though.

I want all of those too, but I'm afraid I'll be in a nursing home by the time they all come out if we're going to keep being getting Mumm-ra/Lion-o variants pretty much every wave.

These are for all the people who have been asking for LJN Variants. Maybe not in this group be we are not the only TC group on the internet. I'm not purchasing wave 6 either not because it's garbage , I think they look great for what they are I'm just heavily invested in the Thundercat's Ultimate's Animated line I don't need the old LJN variant look figures.
So my Credit card gets a break lol and I look forward to what is offered when they reveal wave 7

Since S7 removed the whole LJN Wave 6...

...are they going to change the list with new figures and maybe do a separate release for the variants? Or are they keeping it and will bring back the preorder of them again on a later date?
