Thundercats fans don’t like to be f”d with.

Indeed. Yet it keeps happening and they know that. We've been burned before. There is no excuse for it. I saw the Destro post. We already know about him. Are they stupid? Since when has ignoring fans been a good idea? The customer is always right. People seem to forget that nowadays. It says a lot when fans are mentioning Thundercats on posts for other things. Someone needs a slap.

Where is Sebastian these days? I feel it may be time to go to him and report Super7 for their crimes.
#84
So they've finally told us that the reveal ain't happening but waited until now to tell us. Why? What is it this time? This is shite.
#85
They should have given a real reason rather than "due to circumstances beyond the control of even the Eye of Thundera". Something like "apologies, we were expecting xxx by carrier and it didn't arrive on time" (or whatever). Just be open an honest about what's going on and people will understand as long as it's remotely reasonable.

...or they could just not make statements they will reveal something until they are 99% sure. That way people won't get their hopes up and it can just be a surprise when it happens.

Well yes. How've they managed to mess this up? That's twice now and they give us a cryptic/piss-take explanation. I'm sure they could have let us know sooner and why is it this franchise again?

and now we have no idea of when the announcement is coming. I wonder if they realise how many fans actually believe that this line is cursed. It's understandable because even I had a feeling this was going to happen. You'd think "Surely not a second time" but for some reason I still did. I think we Thundercats fans have gotten too used to being let down and that needs to change before I headbutt somebody. We've all been patient but it seems like we're having the piss taken out of us. At this point, it no longer matters who is responsible because it's always the same, no matter who it is. Plus, we'd never know who it is specifically but whether they mean it or not, somebody is sabotaging this line. It wouldn't be the first time it has happened either. As a fanbase we're not asking a lot but anyone would think we were. The fact is, we deserve better but it's like pulling teeth at this point. It's only right that Thundercats have a toyline because if it doesn't, it dies and I for one am sick of people killing this franchise. I can't even understand why it's so underrated. I feel like it gets disrespected too often in favour of other franchises, most of which aren't even as good, some are a lot bigger but even some of those ones are nowhere near as good in my opinion. I'm also finding that it gets disrespected for the sake of it without other franchises even coming into it.

This is the last straw for me I just cancelled all my pre-orders. No excuse at all. I have been collecting the masters of the universe origins line and no problems whatsoever with getting those figures on time from China. Too many excuses and I don't believe any of them. I think they are running a pay peter to pay paul scheme and its gonna backfire on them. I paid $50.00 upfront for the thundertank and that's not going to happen so hopefully i can get refunded without going through my credit card. I pity the retailers they have to be bummed too.

Can't say I blame you. This is what I mean when I talk about the business model. This line is being handled so poorly that people are bound to bow out. There is only so much bullshit that people will take. If they want to lose customers and for this line to die, they're going the right way about it. If they want it to succeed then where is the common sense? There is only so many excuses people will swallow before they start to call bullshit. Rule number one: Keep your customers happy. Don't piss them off. From a business point of view, that's madness. Maybe it's just that too many businesses are that arrogant these days that they think they can get away with anything.

This is disappointing for sure, but this is just a reveal of figures that are a ways off anyway. Relax. We will see them, and you can buy them.
What I care about most is getting quality ThunderCats figures. Has the process been great? Nope. But I am patient. There are a lot of things to like about S7 including preorder windows and most of the time they are fairly transparent and up front, even when it is painful for them to do so.
I would never cancel my preorder for the Thundertank based on not seeing a wave revealed when they said it would be...that really seems like something you will regret down the road.

The first thing that pissed me off was the wave 1 accessory pack. I emailed them over and over no response. You can't do that stuff and stay in business. No more pre-orders I'll wait till the actual product is in stock and that's it. Like you said collectors will only be fooled around so much till they bail.

Well you have the patience of a saint. It's the poor management that is the biggest issue because that leads to failure. Killing people's excitement is not good for the line. There may be many patient fans who will continue supporting the line, I still am but I can see why others wouldn't and the fact is, some people are backing out. The reality is, this process has put a lot of people off and that is something that we all could have predicted under the circumstances.

Exactly, I totally get that. It's quite an expensive hobby so the last thing you want is to be fooled around with when you're investing a lot of time and money into these toylines. You at least want to be able to trust the company you're buying from but some fans are losing their trust in Super7 now.

I myself know that Super7 are legit but at this moment in time, it is hard to trust that they will handle this toyline appropriately because so far it's been a shambles. I'm not the only one who worries about this. Plus, it's also very frustrating when you're constantly asking "why?" but more often than not, not getting an answer.

And we have been screwed around by Bandai, Funko, Mattel, and now this. If a figure needs work fine but at least send the good like wave 3. Why hold up a complete wave for one figure?

Yes, we have, so fans are bound to react when they're served up another shit sandwich. I remember saying "Why have they held up all 4 of the wave 2 figures when only 2 of them are incorrect? If Grune and Pumyra are correct, send them with Slithe and Jaga. With all these delays we've been led to believe that it's China's fault, Mattel's fault, Covid's fault and maybe there is some truth in that but Super7 has to accept some responsibility too because at the end of the day, they are the ones running this operation. It's their toyline. Despite taking their reasons into account, I'm not sure how legit they are, no one is. It just seems like too many coincidences and too many excuses. Something isn't right and it can go one or two ways. They can turn this around or face failure.
#97
I gave up giving a shit. They beat me into submission. Again. If I want the figures, I have no choice but to have no expectations. "We'll get the figures at some point. Whenever Super7 says I'm going to have them is irrelevant. Whenever they say anything is for sure, it's just not. If they say they're going to fix something, assume they're not. The productions figures will match the prototypes somewhere in the 90% range. You just have to take what they give you. Sometimes it's a lollipop, sometimes it's a kick in the nuts, usually somewhere in between." Super7 is a deadbeat dad. No trust, no expectations, best intentions never result in anything long term.
Whoopie.

Guys these are just Toys calm down. We don't know whats going on behind the scenes and they don't have to tell us to be honest. The reveal will still happen The preorder will still happen. I'm reading your posts and you're upset because The reveal hasn't happend yet even though they said twice it would. One guy canceled all his preorders and who is he hurting besides himself The fact they haven' shown the images yet shows somethig is wrong on their end.
Give it time, we will see it.
#100
I would not be surprised if the one guy who works there that has a passing knowledge of thundercats is out sick and the rest of the staff can't identify any of the figures in the wave other than red Liono.
