They really need to say something if the cats aren't coming today, rather than having people just sitting there waiting. Or it's time to can their social media person!

Agreed. Waiting until the last minute to tell us isn't acceptable either and I can't see what reason there would be to keep putting it off.

Probably is. The fact that they took down the countdown timer yesterday was a bad sign. Who runs that company???

Announcing the turtle van does not excuse this if they're not doing the announcement. Why do Thundercats fans get treated like crap?

Their communication is a problem that I am not sure they are aware of. In regards to their products I would rate their communication as poor. If I were to grade it I would give them an F. This weeks handling of the Wave 5 announcement is just the final straw for me and now I feel compelled to call the company out and they’re poor practices. I understand the last two years have been challenging. There was Covid and the global supply chain issues. I get that. However, these are not excuses for poor communication. First the emails that I have been getting in regards to wave one through four have been pretty poor. Sometimes, I get an email update, other times there has been nothing but silence. Second the interviews that Brian gives he typically sets some type of date of when to expect something. As an example, in an interview a few months ago, Brian said that the test shots of the thunder tank would be available soon, yet nothing has happened. Brian also stated in an interview that we would be updated to the process as it goes along, and yet we’ve heard nothing since the pre-order for the tank ended earlier this year. These are made to order figures that we have already paid for, so it would be nice if there were more updates. Finally let’s talk about the Wave 5 reveal this week. First, it was supposed to come on Tuesday, and then it didn’t. Then they posted a timer on Instagram that would end at 1 PM Eastern time on Friday. Then nothing happened. As a fan, a customer, I’d rather they just said what was going on and when we can expect it. Brian stated that Wave 5 would be revealed when all of wave 3 was in customers hands. Just be open and honest about what is going on. Was it a technical glitch on the website that delete it? OK, fine.

I work for a company that puts customer service above all else (for better or worse sometimes). If our social media person first put a bad date in an official email, then went on to post another bad date (with a countdown clock no less), that person would no longer have a job. It takes very minimal effort to put up a post that says "Hi, guys, unfortunately we're not able to show you Thundercats wave 5 quite yet, but we're hoping to have it ready for next week." I'm a patient person, and can understand the Covid/shipping delays - but this is really pretty inexcusable. Plus they're completely ignoring the comments where people are asking the question. They need to get everyone at the company on the same page.

Yes and how on earth could they not be aware of how poor their communication is? I mean, I think you're right but how? With the comments I've seen, It's quite clear that a large proportion of their supporters want to know where the Thundercats are at. So why would they not do the reveal? Why would they not even say anything? They're a business aren't they? Where is the common sense? Did it die?

So based on that, it sounds like 1pm was when the announcement was due. That makes me think it's not happening. If it weren't for that, I'd say there's still time. Any time that they tell us that from now will be too late in my opinion. Telling us that at the last minute is almost as bad as not telling us at all. They will have known for a fair amount of time I would think. They could have told us as soon as they knew but I don't think they do that.

Me too. Rubbish aren't they? They'd willingly piss fans off unnecessarily. They can't say that it's out of their control and even if they could, they haven't. Is this really the business model they want?
