Silverhawks figures announced

Pretty cool. But they need to be able to actually produce stuff on a decent timetable.

Let's get some more Thundercats figures actually released first.

This year also marks SilverHawks' 35th anniversary. I'm fully aware of its flaws as a TV show, but I acknowledge its concepts.

I was looking for some Silverhawks group pages or forums anywhere in the internet and found nothing, but alas! Finally, somebody is discussing this here!

First wave is Quicksilver, Steelheart, Buzzsaw, and Mon*Star.
$55 for the first 3 and $85 for Mon*Star.
They look really nice IMO. Glad they didn't go with vacmetal.
I had wondered how they'd do the wings. Looks like optional arms instead of cloth wings like the original toys.
I'll probably only get the 'Hawks cuz of the prices.

Not a fan of Silverhawks or Super 7, but aside from the flat paint colours the sculpts look pretty good. Awesome for all of you that want Silverhawks figures.

I've seen what series 1 looks like on the SuperHeroHype site. They do seem to be all-new molds. Why Super7 never does this with their ThunderCats Ultimates! line irritates me.

I'll just wait for the Bluegrass fig because it's the only character I mostly like.

I doubt Brian is that thin skinned to be honest.

I still don’t agree with it. The joke is good, the image is not. Let’s move on.

I like what's shown so far. My only question is Steel-Heart has three heads and a beautiful face and Buzz- Saw has three heads. Why does Quicksilver only have two heads and the one showing his face looks angry? Mon-Star is Spot on and I love that he's going to be 11 inches.

The height differences are really good, especially Mon*Star's. I don't care for the angry Steelheart head sculpt, though.

Ordered. All of 'em.
I hope the paint/plastic color will end up being more metallic than the renders or prototypes depict. I'd like Steelheart to be more of an indigo and quicksilver to be a lighter shade - but i think i might actually end up liking the hero side of this line more than the thundercats' protagonists' figures. Maybe. I still love the masks and the idea of the companion birds with unique abilities. I think Brian's team did a great job with these - particularly designing new sculpts that fit with the aesthetic of the t-cats line. Minor critiques, but i'm very pleased with them.
And i also think the photo is distasteful and kind of misdirected and inaccurate, but it's pretty funny. To be fair, Brian's teams' dates have been inaccurate and his placation misdirected... But only the "bad/weird" sort of "funny" instead of the "haha" funny.

I don't think I'll be buying any of the villains (though a Melodia would be tempting), but the Heroes look awesome here, and I might at least pre-order on BBTS (so I don't have to prepay).

I am, however, wary of the hip/waist areas. They look like they might be made of a soft rubber or something similar. Just hope they're durable.
