I would REALLY like to do a ThunderCats versus Masters of the Universe comparison episode. Eamon from He-Man.org is annoying the HELL out of me with his ThunderCats is an exact clone of MOTU argument. I would like to have a REAL discussion about the two properties without being bias. Yes, I love ThunderCats, but I wouldn't be spending $400 on MOTUC if I didn't love that property. He's more annoying than Emiliano nit-picking every detail on the toys.
Sorry just had to rant. I have a lot respect for Eamon (and Emiliano), but whenever he talks about ThunderCats, it just really bugs me. Anyone interested in doing a special episode with this topic?

I'm completely with you, MannyF - I'd certainly be down for such a special episode if and when the time comes! :)
Take care... :)

Chris, I can do the podcasts pages...we just need to figure out the iTunes stuff.
Just an update to let you guys know that I've been talking with Kyle about this today (before he shoots off on a business trip), and I've taken a look at the RSS feed he's been using to submit this to iTunes. :)
To be honest, although I may be being over-confident, it looks pretty straightforward - I've recently been reading up about XML languages and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is basically an XML-based language just like XHTML that uses specific tags. :)
So, IMO I should be able to update ThunderCast's RSS feed to get each new podcast episode added to iTunes! :)
Nick, if you can LMK as soon as you've finished editing this new episode and I can work on getting it added to the site, etc. Can't wait to hear how it's come out! :)
Take care... :)

Howdy, howdy.
Sorry about the delay. I've finally found some free time and am currently cutting things up, making it edited. The raw audio is two hours - so I'm going to cut this down as much as I can without interrupting the flow of the show. There's a horrible volume increasing on my end which is making me sound great and then overly loud - it's not bad enough that it'll ruin the podcast but I'll stick some sort of notice at the beginning of it. My headset really needs to be replaced.
I'll try do as much work on it as I can. I'll sent it straight to you, Chris, when it's done in an MP3 format. Gimmie a few days.

No worries, Nick, LMK when it's done and then I'll jump on getting it added to the site / iTunes (if I can make the RSS feed work - which I'm confident I can), etc., as soon as I can! :)
Take care... :)

FINALLY! After much editing after some very stressful weeks with college, I found the time to edit and... bingo! It's done, done as done. It clocks in about 70 minutes. Chris, I'll upload it to megaupload and send it to you via the PM's here (as Facebook irritates me - just tried pressing 'return' to create space via FB and it sent it as a message. Stupid. Grrrr.)

Two bits of ThunderCast-related news - firstly, episode 8 is now online:
I've also successfully updated the RSS feed for ThunderCast so that it's available to download from iTunes - I've already downloaded it via iTunes to test it works! ;)
The second bit of news is that I've successfully rebuilt the ThunderCast section of the website, so all of the podcasts are now available to download from this website again:
