I wonder how easy or difficult it will be to get a refund/cancel my subscription?
You can't cancel your subscription. You're going to have to "lose"/cancel the card you used to sub. And take the burn on what you paid for Mumm-Ra.

This sucks. ANOTHER unfinished toy line leaving the team uncompleted. I have three 2016 subscriptions and was looking forward to years of figures being released. Dreams of it being as successful as the MOTU line and us getting loads of characters from the show. This is a massive let-down. I feel completely crushed. Again. Why does this keep happening to us? The only thing keeping me from tears is the silver lining that Mezco has said that they want to do ThunderCats in the One:12 Collective after Mattel is done with their run. Well, they are done. Bring on the One:12 figures. I'm already a big fan of Mezco and I have half a dozen One:12 figures pre-ordered at my local comic shop. I'd rather buy my TCats local than a subscription model anyway.
Far too rich for my blood. Getting the kittens was already more than I have ever paid for an action figure/figures @Retail most certainly. I like collecting an all its a fun hobby but not one i'm willing to go without other things for.

Someone please urge super 7 to continue TC
Why does "someone" have to urge them? You can do that yourself - bombard their twitter/facebook/website - if thats how you feel.
As mentioned in the above linked article, it's the messed up licensing from WB that will prevent Super7 from pursuing it. Urging Super7 is not going to do any good.
Here is the full article:
"Yesterday we reported to you how Mattel announced they would be shutting down MattyCollector.com soon and that Super7 would be continuing their collector lines.
Well we now have some more details to share with you about this latest development. Pixel-Dan, who had a chance to talk with Super7 owner Brian Flynn last night who told him they would be continuing the Masters of the Universe Classics line. The Four Horsemen will continue to sculpt the figures and they already have several Filmation sculpts ready for 2017.
ThunderCats however is a different story. That line appears to be dead after the figures coming out this year are released by Mattel through their subscription service. According to Flynn, the licensing for that brand is just to complicated to deal with, so he doesn't think they will be able to do any thing on that front.
Masters Of The Universe is actually owned by Mattel whereas ThunderCats are not. So for those hoping to at the very least complete the entire original core team of ThunderCats, the chances of seeing a Tygra and Cheetara figure seem slim to none at this point.
We are also told Digital River is done at the end of the year."

O no! This is another TCs dream crushed!! I was soooo excited last year with this line being run by 4H and Mattel. Yet Mattel crushed my dream line! Damn this is the worst news!!!
I wish 4H could pick this up!

I would love to start collecting the Batman TAS figures. They look awesome.
It seems like a very promising line and they are supporting it in a non-half-arsed manner. They just unveiled Superman and Lois Lane from the animated series, as well and they look spot on. I wish TC was given this much love.

While I'm upset that the TC line is cancelled, I think this should send a message to whoever gets the license.
We all need to stop complaining about the little unnecessary issues with these figures and try to be grateful we are getting TCats toys rather than nothing!!
I guess Matty Collector has had it with trying to please Adult collectors and gave in!
I remember "ToyGuru" was hosting a panel discussion for PowerCon (I believe) and grown people was giving him the blues about the MOTU line and I'll never forget some kid emotionally said, "Just be grateful were getting toys!". LOL
We did it with Bandai and sort of with Mattel, who is next?
Everything happens for a reason...

I think everyone should either cancel the cards you gave Matty Collector or contact your bank or card company and tell them to decline any charge from Digital River. Therefore your don't have to spend on an incomplete line and Mattel will end up with a lot of back stock that they have not way of getting rid of. Screw them the same way they screwed us.

I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for Tygra and Cheetara for this line.
Cheetara keeps getting shafted. Bandai already made a "wind blown hair" Cheetara but decided not to reveal it.

If Mattel was ethical they would at least partner with FH to make a special 2 pack set with Tygra and Cheetara. It only makes sense at this point.

A few months back the 'true fans'' were up in arms when I started a my 'WhyI am not collecting the Thundercats Classics' thread. As I explained at the time as much as I loved Thundercats I would not support the line after previous experience with Mattel.
I knew they would mess up the Thundercats line and I was proven right.
I feel sorry for all you people that subscribed to support Mattel's line and I hope none of you went to the psychotic levels of buying multiple subscriptions like He-man.org members have claimed to do to support the line.
Hopefully NECA, Diamond Select or DC Collectibles will make a proper Thundercats Classics line some day.

With 2 lines failing in 5 years, ThunderCats is going to attain a cancerous status with toy makers. No one is going to want to touch this brand anymore.

Perhaps, the cancellation of Jaga and Grune was an omen of sorts.
But, then again, the Kittens seemed like a positive nod as if the line was moving forward.
With 2 lines failing in 5 years, ThunderCats is going to attain a cancerous status with toy makers. No one is going to want to touch this brand anymore.
We might have a few risk takers like Mezco or Icon Heroes. However, the dream of completing a 6 inch scale of the core team looks to be unrealized.
