Don't really like those vintage looks....still unsure what to think.....I hope we hear something from SDCC....wether they will continue the tic line or not....anyone attending....please ask them....back at Nytf...the FH rep said they were excited and looking out for the line.....

I'm pretty optimistic. Seem like they are taking over the "business" of Matty Collector so to say. Rather then just picking up the license. To me that means that are taking everything over, including logistics, packaging, road map of releases, etc...and continue the on the plan that Matty had. Sure they will put their little twist on things but I imagine things will continue for at least 2017 if not longer. It has been stated that Matty (by ToyGuru) that they have to plan lines out two years in advance. So I'm sure they have an idea of whats planned for 2017 and beyond. I'm still hopeful.

I'm also optimistic we will get a 2017 line at the very least. I know Mattel doesn't always have the best interests of the fans in mind with some of their decisions but I believe they will finish the core line up. If they are vague about the future of TC and things look bleak, many people will cancel their subs and Mattel will lose a lot of money on a license that wasn't cheap. There is tremendous potential for Super 7 to take things into a great direction with MOTU and TC and I think the success of them both depends on an affordable, well sculpted 6" Classics figure line to continue.

These are cool, and I am sure they will pursue this ... will be cool if we can get a He-Ro, Eldor and King Grayskull !!!

I assume these will be characters from their new animation series .... thus Three terrors ... hehe very cool!!

Interesting. I must say those are really disappointing. Quite knock off looking. Personally I was hoping for some Filmation style vintage figures.

They are based off an all new He-Man cartoon they made and just debuted last night.

Yeah I seen the trailer for it. Is it any good? Is it true only Alan Oppenheimer reprised his role?

Open up the Vault? Does that mean they have excess stock of the Filmation figures?

Also, how hard would it be to release Tygra and Cheetara? They could just release those figures (and, perhaps, Grune and Jaga) and call it a day.

well there as been a lot of talk lately that something is going on and now we know . hopefully sdcc will give us the answers we need . those super 7 he man figures look terrible if they are anything to go by i won't be buying from them .

why would they just make the figures you have stated and call it a day :confused

Those figures do look terrible and look like bad knock offs. I really do hope they put more effort in the other figures.

Super7's whole thing so far is producing toys in the vintage style. Simplistic articulation and sculpts reminiscent of the vintage 70's/80's 3 3/4 figures and 5" Vintage He-man figs. I wouldn't worry about that quality transferring to the classics figures. That new stuff is made to look this way on purpose. If anything it shows their attention to detail.

At the very least, they should finish off the core set. From all accounts, it appears that Grune and Jaga were near finished. It really depends on whether 4H will be allowed to continue the TC line under Super7 management.

Yeah, it looks deliberate and somewhat reminiscent of the ReAction figures.

Absolutely deliberate, that's their thing.

Yeah, they are trying to do the old 5.5/5.75 figures a la Zoloworld.
#37
Meh, at this point I'd probably cancel my sub if I could. And no, before anyone suggests it, canceling my CC is NOT an option.
#38
Well, this is a bunch of bs if the line is canceled. We should be told what the hell is going on. Why can't someone from Mattel or Super 7 say yes or no as to whether or not there will be a line in 2017?
#39
Wouldn't Super 7 have to be given the license or buy it in order to make TC? I'm sure the contract was just for Mattel.

Pixel Dan confirmed TC is dead.
