Oh no Jabus, this is very concerning. Do you think they once again messed up as they had done way back in the beginning of the sub? Or has postage increased? Anybody else had this problem? I'm glad however to see that Lion-O did make the September sale. Wonder if he is still delayed?

I wish Matty would tell people when they planned to charge your card. I just got an e-mail last night saying that they failed to charge my card. This is likely due to insufficient funds in my bank account as of this writing. The e-mail says I have until the 25th to correct this. I get paid tomorrow, so all will be set right well before then. Still Matty, tell people when you plan to charge them so they can make sure to have the funds ready.

Thats what it looks like to me. I went ahead and emailed matty to inquire. I saw someone posted over on he-man.org they were charged only 30 something for theirs. Just did a dummy order for a $25 figure on their site and my total only amounts to $38.79 with tax and shipping, so I'm most definitely sure they are trying overcharge me.

Well they are jerks and don't do that but for future reference they usually start charging cards for items around the 11th of the month.

I dont know why, but I just got a refund of $10.70

And I promptly wrote back letting them know this is a bit absurd since they've had since Jan. to sort this overcharge stuff out and I shouldn't have been overcharged for my Lion-O to begin with. And asked if I'm going to have to request a refund every month or if they are going to fix it so i'm only charged $25 a figure like I am supposed to. So heads up to anyone who initially ordered a sub when they were $30.

So way back in January, I bought two subs for a total of $64.80 and then was given two refunds of $5 each. That first payment I believe was just the "subscription fee," or the "we're making you pay for Mumm-Ra so he's not actually free fee." That's fine. They didn't refund me the tax that came with that extra $10, though.
Right now, there's a pending $79.26 charge from Matty (for the two Lion-Os, I guess), and I just got a a refund notice of $10.80. That means it's about $70 total, minus $10 (?) for shipping, meaning the figures are about $30 each (?). At this point, I don't even remember what Matty's selling them for. Maybe that was part of the plan.

They should be refunding you $10 for your Lion-O's but shipping is very expensive with matty. To ship one figure within the United States at the cheapest option is like $12.

It will be interesting to see how the lines cancellation effects the scalper prices.

I really would've liked a second set of the new line, but just getting my hands on one set is a bit pricey already. Would've been nice to get another Lion-O today but alas, that $5 on top of the already paid $25 makes it a bit expensive on this side of the globe lol. I'd also like to know who on here went and got themselves a second Lion-O. Wonder how fast he will sell out, or if he will. And quite an interesting thought Mark, who knows if it will affect the scalper prices?!

I got everything squared away with my account. $25 for the figure, $11.59 for shipping, and $2.20 for tax. Grand total of $38.79. Now I remember already being charged $25 back in January when I subbed. Now was that for Mumm-Ra, or did I just get charged twice for Lion-O?

They sent out emails telling everyone they were shipping at the end of the month. Even before that we all knew they were shipping in September. What other warning did you need?


Also I was only charged $39.

yes they usually send out an email like a week or two before they charge asking you to verify your credit card or address....imo, they give you plenty of time.
