I also think it's a stretch to think that any success with the original Thundercats will have an edffect with the reeboot. If it's successful hopefully it will leadto some solo comics of the original crew, I think that's the best we can hope for.
As long we can have both the classics and the 2011 content of the franchise.

So why can't have both comics; one focus one the original, and one focus on the reboot?
Afterfall TMNT IDW comic both have the original and the 2012 content seperately.
jeez, always with doubts when it becomes to the reboot. You know not everyone is disagreeble on the 2011 series, everyone has their own opinion, and that's true. Some people have hopes, some have doubts;
big deal. Doesn't mean we can't all settle our differences.
Not doubts on the reboot. Doubts on WB considering how poorly they have treated the original series.

That's not exactly correct. The 2012 cartoons comics are just an off shoot of the main TMNT comics along with the various Mirage and Archie 80's/90's reprints.

Oh, yeah but after all the orignal tmnt started off as an underground/indie/alternative comic format

Yes. But I mean IDW have their own ongoing TMNT series that is not related to any of the movies, cartoons or previous comics.

Yeah, that's true. But I wish WB would just stop focusing too much on the DC universe and Legos, and refresh the 2011 reboot with a conclusion in some form, before they start a new fresh series for the ThunderCats franchise for a change...

I really doubt WB have plans for a new Thundercats series any time soon.

Like any company, WB only cares about profits. DC and LEGOS are profitable for them so they are never going to stop focusing on them. These cartoons and comics and movies really aren't the main source of income, it is the merchandise they generate that forms the bulk of a company's profit. Which is why Pixar made Cars 2 and is making Cars 3, despite terrible reviews. Their merchandise sells well.
So as much as you would love to see a continuation of the 2011 Thundercats cartoon, it is never going to happen simply because the toys did not sell as well as the studios hoped. Even if the cartoon had been really bad, if the toys had sold out fast, then there surely would have been a season 2. There's no way WB are going to dish out money to complete the cartoon just to please a few fans.

Same situation with Young Justice, it was cancelled due to poor toy sales.. Much like Bandai's Thundercats, Mattel's Young Justice toys were not very good, hence why they didn't sell very well. Another interesting comparison is they also did 4" and 6" figures.

So, what do we do? Let Mlp and Tmnt have all glory, while thundercats remained in the dust?!
I won't let happen!!!!
i'd rather die, if mlp and tmnt have all the fame and recognition...
and all the merchandise can come tumbling down of our heads and these two shows won't stop. And if the 2011 reboot of the thundercats series will remain a cliffhanger and be forgotten , well that's going to be what's going to be what it is..

Good luck with that LOL you will need it. Please let us all know when you come up with a plan to either stop people enjoying various successful shows and buying their toys or time travel back to 2011 and buy millions of dollars worth of Thundercats merchandise.
You do understand that the ending of the 2011 series wasn't a cliffhanger, don't you? I am really bored of people saying it had a cliffhanger ending when it did not.

I don't believe the show ended in a cliffhanger at all. It ended on a positive note, what with Lion-O holding up his mighty Sword of Omens. :)

While I agree it wasn't technically a cliffhanger the storyline was definitely unfinished.

I guess that's true, i mean i'm just grown tired of mlp and tmnt, and i mean i'm just lose intrested in them. Because their growing too overrated if you ask me, i know canceling them, won't bring thundercats back, will it? We'll never even have conclusion, the 2011 series have so much potential, and left as a tragic waste. :(

You do realise this isn't the thread this should really be being discussed on. The only people to blame for the way the 2011 series turned out are Jelenic, Norton and the writers they hired.

Look, i'm not the enemy here, And I know that Mlp ad Tmnt are the most popular reboot cartoons , and they still are and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
But don't go blaming on Norton, Jelenic, and Studio 4 C. They just worked so hard to keep Thundercats franchise alive, but they've shouldn't have given up so easily, plus they're not Rankin Bass! The only one is to blame is the bad marketing of the merchandise.

Jelenic and Norton both changed Thundercats too much from what made the original loved by fans instead of embracing the things fans loved about it like Transformers, MOTU and TMNT.
The writers that worked on the episode really did nothing with the characters except Lion-O.
The Bandai toys were not very good but in equal part the cartoon failed to make fans want to buy them. The cartoon just did not appeal the age group the toys were aimed at.
