WB has owned DC since 1968 and ThunderCats since 1989.

Judging solely on the artwork - I wonder if the twins or the new cats will make an appearance. I see Orko missing too, and of course She-Ra and her minions, so I wonder who will be seen and who not. Snarf is obviously missing too. Maybe he and Orko can battle Ma-Mutt together. Snarf Snarf! :snarf

Maybe, since this is a Mattel/DC storyline, they don't wanna add too many characters. I do hope Orko, Snarf, and the ThunderKittens are in it, though.

After todays Thundercats and MOTU news I wonder how that will affect interest and sales of the comic.

A couple blurry preview pages from the SDCC panel.
I like the drawings for each panel, even the alternate issue #1 cover art.

I am really looking forward to seeing more of this. The art style is certainly different.

Me, too. If this crossover is successful enough, maybe Mattel and DC can cross Masters of the Universe over with other properties, and I pray that the Princess of Power characters (including She-Ra) are included since they're MOTU canon.
Thanks for sharing these, balgus82! :thumbsup Looks like they are hand-painted using watercolors, my favorite medium! :)
When I first read the news article, I skimmed through it quickly so for a moment I thought that the art (which is done by Freddie Williams) was done by William Friedle, the voice of Lion-O from the 2011 series.

Yes they are ALL pointed lie a saw but EVERYONE forgets this. >_< I know it's a minor thing but it always bothers me.
Even his 2011 counterpart had razor-sharp teeth. >)

yup. XD
I don't know if I'll read the comic, probably will when I am able to download it for free but I just hope they're done justice. *glares at "the return"* I'm looking at YOU wildstorm.
If the comic is done well his teeth will be a minor complaint.

I know for sure that, after all six issues are released, they'll be released in paperback form in late 2017. :)
