Hard Hero Tygra progress

I'm told Tygra is painted and the boxes will be printed after CNY. So not long before He's shipping to US. :thumbsup:

That's great. I thing Tygra will be one of the best Statues produced by HH.

So when is the CNY?

CNY starts today or tomorrow, the third, not sure but I think it last about 3 weeks.

Awesome news!! Rob, since Tygra is getting out before Mumm-Ra, can those who have Mumm-Ra pre-paid transfer amount to Tygra?

Keep in mind, if the boxes are being printed on the same side of the ocean as where the statues are produced, that means there is no way Tygra can start the boat ride to the US until after CNY is over. I only mention this since that is the only reason I can see CNY affecting box printing.

Based on this logic, I am guesstimating Tygra should see a release date around early April. That is giving 3 weeks for CNY; 1 week for box printing, assembly, and packing; 4 weeks for the boat ride; and 1 week to make it from port to Hard Hero's warehouse. I know that sounds like a bummer, but that would still mean Tygra gets shipped approximately 3 months after Ben-Gali. :thumbsup:

Update: Got an E-mail back from Hard Hero in response to my previous question. If you had set up Easy Pay for Mumm-Ra, they will switch your pre-paid amount to Tygra if you ask them to.

Yeah I'm not a statue guy, but a Panthro reveal soon would be awesome. Was there any clarification on why Mumm-Ra was delayed indefinitely???

And the Factory is saying Tygra will ship around the first part of March. They should have box printed witihn a week, I'm told.

So Tygra should be just around the corner! We are in the first part of March.

I agree! I'm really excited for this release. Which would make it the last (beyond the canceled mummra) HH statue thats on the "coming soon" page.

So I'm guessing and hoping we'll see a few new ones up soon as well! I just hope Wilykit and Wilykat aren't far behind. And a exclusive of Pumyra would be nice too!

Unless you have heard something from somewhere else... Mumm-Ra is not canceled. He has been delayed for some unknown reason. I am almost certain Rob has recently referred to Mumm-Ra as delayed, not canceled. If he was canceled, his page would be coming off of the Hard Hero site, like The Thing in the Crypt, which was supposed to be the 4th in the Conan series.

I believe Rob had said the next statues scheduled are Slithe, Panthro, and Jaga (in that order, I think).

I'm just worried, as I've always been, and I've seen it happened in other statue lines that I liked. Having half a set of mains and 3 random characters that for some reason were done instead of more main characters. Like it would kill me if they did say jagara at all, or did grune before they did wilykit and kat, which would complete the main thundercats, and then opps the license ran out and its done. I'm a little obsessive compulsive that way I think. :confused:

No prob. Just wanted to be sure before some rampant rumor got started. I'm neither confirming nor denying the possibility that Mumm-Ra could be canceled, just pointing out we have no official word other than he is delayed still. But from a customer point of view, it is not looking good since Ben-Gali and Tygra have both passed him in the design/manufacturing/shipping process.

This is purely speculation on my part, but here is my theory: I recall at one of the Toy Fair events, Hard Hero had Cheetara, Mumm-Ra, and Tygra on display. Mumm-Ra's outstretched hand had been put on wrong. Anyway, my guess is that there may be an issue with getting the hand attached the proper way. There is no way they can ship a statue that has attaching pieces that won't attach correctly. Therefore they may have had to go back and do some small redesigning, which could have forced Mumm-Ra to the back of the line of the already designed statues. That could explain why he has been delayed so much if they had to get WB's approval again. But, again, this is just my speculation; I have heard nothing from any official person to confirm this theory on.

Hey guys just curious if any of you know the postage cost of a hard hero, as I live in the UK, and have a Tygra on the way soon. With customs charges etc what is the best way to ask them to send it to me?? :confused:
