wwonka2009 Screwed Me On eBay - Beware

I was so excited to have won this auction for a Luna Lasher Mumm-Ra (the last figures I need to complete my set):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220665173942&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

The price was excellent and I sent payment immediately. About 3 days later I received refund for my payment and an email from the seller (currently known as wwonka2009) stating that there was a mix up and that he didn't actually have the figure that was clearly photographed and described as "close to C10 condition." This sounded suspicious to me, like he had received a higher offer from another ebayer after the close of the auction, and today I found this to confirm that suspicion:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220671782056

Same seller. Higher price. No picture. Described only as "Mumm-Ra."

I got my refund, and there isn't anything I can do through eBay to force him to put my figure in the mail to me. I left negative feedback and reported the seller to eBay, but I doubt they do anything to him. I'm just ****ed because i thought I had finally tracked down the last figure I was searching for. I've been trying to buy one for years now. I'm only posting this here to share my tale of woe. Maybe the buyer or seller (wwonka2009) will read this and feel bad that they screwed a fellow Thundercatslair Board Member.

Quick update to the Wall of Shame: the eBay buyer who bought the auction I had won (and likely instigated this whole affair) has been identified as 33powerfreak. Reviewing his feedback he seems to buy quite a few high dollar Thundercats figures so I wouldn't be surprised if he frequents this board.

Does it sound like I'm bitter and spiteful? I am.

Oh mysterious new member.. Oh i wonder who you are... Not rocket science

Ive only just come across this thread.

Yes it was me. I offered him a buy it now as soon as he listed it to which he said he would think about.. I offered more than you actually won it for. I didnt watch it as i forgot so missed the end date ... He came back to me which looks like after the auction end and asked if i still wanted it. And of course i said "yes".... as it too was a piece i needed..

Sorry if it caused upset.

Ok, Endorx, I'll buy that. Sorry I blamed you for any of this. I probably would have done the same thing had I not known the figure had already been won by someone else.

I should say that im sorry aswell.. Im sure if it was a piece that anyone needed, they would of done the same.

Although on the sellers behalf, If someone offered me a higher price for an item i would of taken it also.. Although not as sneaky as wonka did..

Sorry

I'll officially end my *****ing about this now. This afternoon I received a package from Chromeagle and now can no longer say I am lacking a loose Luna Lasher Mumm-Ra in my Thundercats collection. Thanks, Chromeagle.
