Brief update as I'm knackered! But I've updated us to Wordpress 3.2 and the update screwed up the Admin panel, due to the plugin: broken-link-checker
No idea why this was installed, but I deleted it to get the Admin interface working again.
I did download the folder before deleting though incase it's of value to us. Though Wordpress 3.2 won't work with it.
Thought I'd post to let you guys know.

Chris here...
Well done with your hard work here, Neil - how did you find out what was messing up the Admin panel? :)
The broken link checker plugin was installed when we moved the WordPress site from the "relaunch" subdirectory into the main site, to check for and attempt to fix any broken links within the HTML code of the pages. I believe it did locate and fix some too - but, to be honest, it's no longer needed now, as I always check all hyperlinks to see if they're working as a matter of course anyway! :)
Take care... :)

I panicked a little to start with! :D But then I went on the Wordpress forums and other users had reported the same problem with that same pugin, after upgrading WP to 3.2, as well as other plugins that are incompatible now (with 3.2)
The error message I was getting, told me the problem was with 'broken link checker', so I knew what to search for ;)
The advice was to remove the plugin folder of that particular plugin causing you hassle. I had assumed with it being an 'add on' that it wasn't crucial to the running of WP. Just to be sure I download the plugin just incase. So can I delete it from my hard drive now? :)
To be honest I'm always nervous about these upgrades, but with this site getting bigger, we will be more prone to be hacked :( So we need to keep on top of updates...
