What was your most expensive Thundercats buy and when did you buy it and how much will it be worth today?

Tongue-A-Saurus

Bengali, he was in a job lot for £40, the rest of the stuff was junk but he is in excellent condition with working action.

I would say my AFA 85 Sword of Omens back in 2008. Not sure how much its worth today but I wouldn't care as it's a beautiful example of rare Thundercats memorabilia. Aside from that I would have to add some of the Thundercats protos I feel very lucky and fortunate to have acquired. Real beauties and cost some serious money but again, it's for my personal collection and I hope never to have to sell them

Ahhhh of course! I should have thought to check there first. If you ever decide to take pictures of the molds I would still be curious to see them (even if they arent pretty haha).

I just checked out that photo in your collections thread and it is awesome! Though I believe that it is a mold of Cruncher and not Ram Bam. Is the mold made of hard plaster or is it flexible rubber?

Haha thanks for reminding me who i had. They are plaster casts

To date - my most expensive Thundercats buy was the Thundertank Pedal Power Cycle (in a pretty much destroyed box).

Amazing pictures in your thread! I can honestly say that I am insanely jealous. Thanks for the heads up on the Cruncher molds. Where were you able to acquire these?

I got them from a pretty reputable dealer on ebay about ten years ago. They were my first production piece

Must be Carded Panthro C8 bought it for R900 (that was about $90 back then.) - Not expensive at all, seeing that I can get around $250 for it now .... but then I only have a small TC's collection. ;)

Tounge-A-Saurus. Wasnt that expensive, but it is the highest priced item I've ever bought. Worth it, though :)

If you don't mind me asking out of curiosity what type of price did you get him for?

€400. As MIB as they come. RainbowToys, with ThunderWarrior offer. Only one side of the box has been openend, the Tongue-A-Saurus has never been removed from the cardboard & plastic inlays. Complete with instructions and booklet. So, yeah, worth it :)
