well helllo everyone for those who dont know me im a huge 80s toon fan heman shera transformers thundercats gijoe lion voltron and plenty others. i love movie series like james bond rocky star wars and plenty of more as well. 80s and 70s music is what i like best

ive been on this forum for a while now and its my fave thundercats forum out there thanks to manny and his crew being fair to others and likewise which i love.
for those who dont know where i got the name optimusprime hes one of my fave charachters and all time heroes from the 80s toons and i also have a transformers forum and site, the forums specialize with the 80s toons, im of course a mod over there so i have plenty of experience so i hope that there will be more good then bad in modding the forums.

First day on the job and I already made a big blunder. I'm not used to there being an edit button in front of everybody's post. I naturally click the first button to quote someone. I inadvertantly rewrote balgus's post. I think I fixed it. Doh. :duh:

It's cool :) You will soon get used to it. I restored Balgus post to it's original state and he'll not know the difference ;)

Almost forgot... Since I don't share my name much, I'm Toby.

Seeing IP addresses can help in many situations, such as if someone doesn't take the hint with warnings and needs to have a temporary ban. Sometimes the user will just create a new account but the IP usually can catch those situations.

Or, when we were swarmed with spammers, we could see the IPs of the spammers and block them that way.

Manny, optimus thanks a lot. Yeah the truth is that i've been having a hard time. The army in Cyprus is much more difficult and demanding than in Greece. This is owing to the history of the island and the issue with the Turks. We get paid and we are treated like mercenaries, since we are hired for service in a foreign army.

From what i hear things in Greece are going bad with the economy and many people are living in minimum wages. Unforunatelly, the future is hopeless for the young generation. I don'tknow when and if we are going to see a bright day any time soon:confused:

I am eagerly waiting to come back and start posting regularly once again:thumbsup:
