Short welcome to mcss aerocoupe, Lordore and Purrsia. As you know we have seen an immense amount of traffic recently bringing with that an influx of spammers. I have edited your permissions to give you the tools you need to moderate the forums. On the top right side of the screen you can access the mod panel which will show you different actions for moderating. Moderating is fairly easy but does require vigilance.

If you havent moderated before please do not hesitate to contact me or one of the other staff members. One portion of the mod panel to look at is going onto control panel home located on the top left. Once there you will notice a box stating what needs moderating. Please know that this only catches a few spammers so looking out in the forums is very important.

The next area that we would like you to become involved in is in the area of contributions such as reviews, information, etc. We know that not everyone can do reviews but we would like to know what you can bring in the way of contributions so that we can have an even better website. Ideas are always welcome and that is what this forum is all about, making things better and better.

So without further adieu...we're looking forward to know more about you and your ideas

Thank you very much, as i told you, i am only a year in this forum but Thundercats were always in my heart ever since i was 5 years old. And this won't ever change. I'll try very hard to uphold the code of Thundera in this message board!I don't have any experience as a moderator by i will do my best to catch up to you guys.

ThunderscatsLair is the first Forum i ever joined back in October 2009. I am also a member in Statue Forum but i rarely post there. I enjoy very much my time here, i think this is obvious...

If anyone would like to ask me anything please feel free . My name is Orestes.

Take care guys

Wow, thanks so much for choosing me for there were many good choices among the volunteers. I'm flattered!

I do have moderator experience, though vBulletin's setup is a bit different than I'm used to. Still looks pretty straight forward. If I have any questions I'll definitely let you know!

While I am going back to work in the office 4 days a week, and can only help moderate on those days in the evening, the rest of the time I can pop in periodically.

Contribution-wise, just let me know what you need and if I'm able, I'll help you out  I know html, some photoshop and fancy myself a decent enough writer.

Moderating is not really hard. The hardest part is getting used to the control panel, which you will notice on the upper right hand of your page. When logging in you should see the main page which will show differnt options on the left side. The easiest thing to do in that case is find out where the tread or post in question is located and delete the post as spam. You may have to do that by having a look at the different forums and utlizing the Moderation tab on the left side of the control panel.

I'd give you a complete run down tutorial but we'll have to do the on the job training. Its pretty easy and you'll do just fine. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the Mod control panel, look at all the features and also look in the forums.

Dont worry, if there is something just ask and Ill walk you through it

Check the General Discussion area: http://www.thundercatslair.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=55

You will see that there is posts that need moderating. Give it a try

Welcome to the underpaid murky world of moderating guys! ;) Of course any questions, problems or even hassles with any members, please be sure to post about it in this forum.

Just want to say thanks again for volunteering to help :)

I too am honored to have been chosen to help. Off the top of my head, I can/need to get back on the review/disccussion posts of the original series. I have not moderated a forum before, but being a "techie" with web design experience, it can't be too hard, I hope.

Welcome guys! Thanks for helping on the boards! It's the most popular part of the site, so I dare say your names are going to be quite known ;)
