So we know a little more after the latest interview with Bryan:
1. Two good guys and two villains each wave
2. Wily Kat was strongly suggested as being in the next wave

So I'm going to update my initial guesses with a new list:

1. Wily Kit and Wily Kat two pack $60
2. Jaga
3. Mokian
4. Alluro
#22
I like your list except sub Chilla for Alluro.

I wouldn’t mind either of them but I think Alluro may have a stronger immediate appeal because if his presence. Just don’t let Chilla hear me say that. Either way I approve of both!!!

Any thoughts on what we can expect from Wave 3? I'll list my guesses:

Jaga (seems very likely considering he has been shown as a prototype)
Cheetara (somewhat likely since they should be trying to round out the main team) (Also, comes with Wily Kit???)
Slithe (most likely a mutant should show up)
Monkian (if they include him, then we get all the main team and main mutants done by Wave 3, except for poor Snarf)

This is what I want but it looks as though we're getting Kit and Kat for wave 3 so they will probably replace Cheetara, with Cheetara being held back for wave 4 or 5 like people say. It wouldn't surprise me if Slithe or Monkian got held back as well. However, I think one of them will show up in wave 3. Maybe we'll see Ratar-O. I'd be happy with that. I know a lot of fans want Lunataks so maybe one of them will show up. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the Lunataks but even if I was, I would actually be quite surprised to see any of them so early on. If it happens, it will be down to a high demand from online fans. I just think that if you try and start too many teams in the first 5 waves, you're less likely to complete the teams. I think it would be better to complete the original good and bad teams in the first 5 waves just in case Super7 don't do any more. Having said that, I think they will and Super7 will know whether or not that is going to be the case before any of us do. One thing I will throw in is that there is possibly room for one or two wildcards in the first 5 waves in addition to the cat and mutant teams, like characters who only appeared once or twice but were quite popular with fans and also appeared quite early on in the show. I myself would like to see Mongor and Hachiman but admittedly, I think the chances of getting those two in the first 5 waves is slim. These initial guesses would be my first choice but based on what has been said recently, I'll go with this:
1. Kit & Kat
2. Jaga
3. Monkian
4. Ratar-O
However, I wouldn't rule out a mutant pairing of Slithe and Vultureman which would also be good. I hope we see a mutant pairing in this wave as it will bring us closer to completing their team. Jackalman is lonely.

I think the first 3 will be in there, not sure about 4 but for Lunatak fans, getting Alluro would be fantastic news I'm sure. For me personally, I'd rather have Ratar-O for the 4th spot.

I don't see Super7 giving us Cheetara so soon, were getting Tygra in wave two. I think Cheetara will be in wave 5 this year.

I think we will see in wave three
Monkian
Bengali or Lynxo
Jaga
Safari joe or Mongor

Super7 seems to go with Two good guys and two bad guys per wave.
Cheetara & Slithe will be held back till end of 2020 simply because there are those who only want the Core teams and then will stop buying. Super7 needs to keep the wavs interesting. three more waves are yet to be revealed this year.

It would be cool to get Mongor.

I think a lot of fans would still be interested after wave 5 even if the core characters did come out in the first 5 waves. Lots of fans have favourites that only appeared once or twice and a lot of fans want Lunataks so if they're not in the first 5 waves, they will be a big draw for the waves that come after.

All i'm saying is I think it would be a major mistake if Super7 gives us the core Thundercatscats and core mutants all this year because for many that's all they want and then they will say ok i'm done and will drop out and not buy into any of the planned 2021 waves and Super7 needs the waves to sell well for the line to continue. If Super7 saves a few big draws like Slithe & cheetara until say wave 7 in 2021 that would not only guarantee keeping fan interest it also gives Super7 wiggle room to include other characters from the show. Some that may never had a figure like Wizz-Ra, Zaxx, Lunataks, Pumm-Ra, Mandora with her bike, Willa & Nayda

I think that's right to some degree but only provided that we get more waves after the first 5. However, we don't know this for sure. If this line doesn't have longevity then people would look back on it wishing that the core cast came early on. After previous toylines, I take nothing for granted. I think the fan base is strong enough to keep the line going for a long time, even if some people do only want so many of the characters. I'll admit, outside of the core heroes and villains, there are only a few others that I would want. I was never really sold on Pumyra, Lynx-O, Bengali or the Lunataks. When I was a kid, I never saw beyond the 'Thundercats Ho!' 5 part episode. I've seen the rest since but that was on dvd. I do think many will still try and get as many characters as possible and based on what I've read, that is what most fans want. The trouble is, anything can happen when it comes to a toyline and the price point is high on these. When toylines stop, we don't always know the reason. I don't believe that MattyCollector stopped due to lack of interest or sales. I think the fan base is strong and on the whole, will try very hard to support the line and keep it going. Looking at it now, there won't be many core characters to hold back based on how it's going so far. We already have both versions of Mumm-Ra, Lion-O, Panthro and Tygra. Cheetara has been pretty much been confirmed seeing as how Brian mentioned that they were working on her. We know about Jaga, Kit and Kat. There is bound to be at least one mutant in wave 3 seeing as how we didn't get one in wave 2 and we already have Jackalman. Grune is almost considered a core character (a personal favourite of mine) despite only appearing about three times in the show which is due to his popularity and his link to the Thundercats, particularly Jaga, who is considered a core character despite being a ghost for most of the show. He's like Obi-Wan in the original Star Wars Trilogy. Super7 will only be able to hold back certain core characters for so long. With this not being a mainstream toyline, not being a subscription service and the figures being made to order, I'm not sure if they will have to follow the same business model as MattyCollector in terms of when they release certain characters. People can just buy whichever character they want so the popular characters don't necessarily carry the waves, they carry themselves. The less popular characters will receive less orders no matter what wave they're in. However, I do still think enough fans who are on board with the toyline will still order the wildcard characters. A large proportion of the fan base who collect this line will be hardcore fans who want and will purchase every character that's made. For the line to go for as long as the fan base wants it to, there are going to have to be waves that are just full of lesser known characters, plus there will be opportunities to do different versions of the core characters. I think it will be ok if Super7 continue to do that because most collectors will have seen every episode of Thundercats and will know who these characters are. Some who don't but are collecting might just purchase them because of the cool character designs. They may not even know the importance of every character but if they like the figures and can afford to keep buying them, they will. Some MOTU fans will want them if they've collected MOTUC for years, particularly with that line seemingly coming to an end. So ultimately, I'm not sure how important it's going to be for Super7 to hold back core characters. On the whole, the toyline will either thrive or it won't, regardless of what order the characters are released in. When you don't know how long you're going to have a toyline for, you have to make the best of it and be careful not to leave it looking unfinished because if you do, it's a failure. If it doesn't thrive, better to have the core heroes and villains at the very least. However, I think it has great potential to thrive. I think many fans will be excited if the line lasts and they see characters who they've never gotten figures of before. That in itself is a draw in toylines. It was well-received with MOTUC. I know that it's a bigger franchise but that doesn't mean that Thundercats won't have a big enough fan base to keep the line going as well as some MOTU fans getting on board with the line as well. I think that many will. Doing Thundercats classics in the MOTUC style was also a selling point and I think that's why they did it. MOTUC has been a very successful toyline. Many have said that it doesn't work for Thundercats but I think most are in favour of it when they consider the option of mixing them into the MOTU universe. The only reason I'm not after an awful lot of characters and just sticking to the ones I want the most is because of space and also wanting to save a bit more money further down the line. If that weren't the case, I'd probably get most just for the fun of it as I like many of the character designs from the show, even for characters who I'm not that fussed on because I know that they would look cool as action figures based on their designs alone. I bought many MOTUC characters that I wasn't familiar with but liked the look of and that's simply because MOTUC came first. I actually prefer Thundercats to MOTU as I don't think MOTU got a decent TV show until 2002. Before that, I mainly just liked it as an overall franchise whereas Thundercats was one of my favourite shows growing up. Sorry for the long message.

I mostly want the wildcards. Hachi Man and Wizz-Ra are at the top of my list, followed by the Ice King.

I think many other fans do as well and it's totally understandable because while those characters may not hold as much significance to some, perhaps due to not being explored enough in the show, they all have cool character designs and will look good as action figures. Plus, it will be exciting for many because most fans would never have expected to get them and two of them have never been done before. Wizz-Ra has a fantastic character design. I like the Ice King's design but I wasn't that keen on the episode, it could have been a lot better in my opinion. I think they missed an opportunity with that character, as they did with a few others. If those characters cropped up early, I dare say, I'd be tempted by all of them but it's likely that by the time those ones get made, if at all, I might not still be collecting (see previous post) because the toyline will have to keep going for a long time and it will take a long time to release all these characters. However, I definitely want Hachiman as he is my favourite Thundercat ally and he will most likely show up before the other two.

I tend to really dig ice and snow themed characters, and I like how big and bulky he looks.

I believe Bryan already said no wave 3 at Toy Fair. We should see the ReAction figures though I bet.

This is what I thought. I'm sure the first two waves will be displayed but we've already seen them so I'm actually not that excited for ToyFair. I'm more excited for the end of March, the end of June and the end of September because that is most likely when waves 3, 4 and 5 will be revealed.

I was under the impression that wave 3 would not be revealed at ToyFair and that we would have to wait until the end of March for the reveal.

That's what I understood also. Toyfair is too early since the wave 3 pre-order won't be up until April. So March would be the earliest for a tease
