Oddly enough the article I put up seems to have miraculously been amended......maybe Mumm-Ra has been up to his old tricks? Shame he didn't let me in on his plan....
What's been changed about it? I promise it wasn't me! :(
Re: other questions to ask, I think perhaps a good one would be "When will we get a look at some of the evil characters (such as Mumm-Ra) who will be featuring in the new ThunderCats toyline?" :)
Well done with all of this, Neil, I really appreciate you posting that up, especially your self-sacrifice with the Tygra figure, LOL! :D
Take care... :)

Sorry Neil, I should have told you :(
I just changed the image for the featured image to show all the figures. If you don't like it, I can change it back. I didn't think it was a big deal.
Didn't mean to make you upset.

Nah will only be posting up what info is important to ThunderCats fans. Anything else will be ignored.
I'm hoping to get some interviews out of this with those involved with the cartoon. Would you be up for that Nick? :)
Sorry I missed this.
Absolutely. We'll add them to the ThunderCast episodes when we start doing them. :)

Just a thought, directed mainly at Neil but as always welcoming input from all of the team - is there a way that we could ask either WB and/or Bandai if they could send us samples of the new ThunderCats figures in the same way that Pixel Dan receives the MOTU Classics figures? :)
What I was thinking was whether Bandai would be willing to send a sample of each figure say to yourself Neil, or to MannyC or whomever, and we could do a video review of each one and add it this site's YouTube channel, and then take pics and add those to our Toy Guide? :)
Perhaps it might be worth having a chat with Pixel Dan and ask his advice on how we was able to make this happen? :)
I'm definitely not suggesting this with an ulterior agenda as think that any toy samples should go to the toy experts on this site first and foremost - just wondered if this was something that might have been able to be made to happen? :)
Take care... :)

Well I'd be up to receiving samples for sure, anybody would :D
Not sure how it would be worked out but I would defnitely be able to take good pictures of the figures. I have a decent photography setup.
I doubt this would pan out but if it does it would be awesome

Hey Neil, I don't suppose there's any chance that Winson could get us a high-res version of this new Cartoon Network trailer that we could stream on this site, is there? :)
It would be awesome if this site could have the first high-resolution version of this - dare we dream?! :D
Take care... :)

Sorry been out all afternoon and have only recently logged on here! Anyway already on it, as I've just sent an email off to Winson :)
I'll see what he says...and if there will be a delay with the video, might be worth just linking to one of the Youtube videos on our front page.

Winson replied:
Hi Neil - You're on our distribution so if it goes out you'll get it
'IF' it goes out? Just between the team, to me this is crappy PR. This news should be followed up with official comment at least! I can understand the video taking time to release....but 'If' it's released? Really?

Hey Neil, thanks so much for jumping on this so quickly! :)

LOL, that answer had me rolling - I think he's writing in a hurry and isn't choosing his words carefully (in fairness I know what that's like), but yeah, perhaps somebody should tell him half the world has seen it already!! :D (Actually better not, in case WB yank it from YouTube! :p )
Neil, any chance you could get in touch with your contact(s) and see if we can get versions of these images to feature on our site? :)
It's frustrating to me that other sites are getting these before us - a mistake on WB/Bandai's part given that we're now the #2 TCats result on Google (second only to Wikipedia)...although maybe that's my ego talking! ;)
Take care... :)

Sent Chris and Neil the zip file (via email) they sent me for ThunderCatsNOW. I had to request the images, even though TCN is on the mailing list...at least that's what I thought.
I must admit I'd love to find out why we didn't get these images - I'm guessing probably just an oversight, but might be worth re-establishing contact with our WB / Bandai contacts and just making sure that we're still on their lists! :)

The images had arrived in my mailbox about half an hour before Manny had sent his.....I've mentioned to them in my reply, about us being on their 'list' for press releases so we get them the same time as everyone else in the future!

Chris here...
Sorry for randomly bumping this thread, but two thoughts have occurred to me, and with my lousy short-term memory I thought I ought to get them down before I forget! :D
1) Did we ever pursue the idea of the toy experts here (Neil, MannyC and/or Matt) getting free samples from Bandai for reviews, etc.? We're now #2 on Google for the term "thundercats" (behind Wikipedia's ThunderCats article), and I feel that if Pixel Dan can get free MOTUC samples from Mattel for reviewing, we should be able to get free TCats from Bandai! ;) Perhaps someone ought to speak to Pixel Dan and ask him how he pulled that off? :)
2) Would a PR rep from Warner Bros / Bandai have been interested in doing a short telephone (Skype) interview about the upcoming stuff, either to be included in an episode of ThunderCast or made available as a download off this site (or both)? :)
I'm eager for us to keep "on the ball" and taking advantage of both the contacts we've been able to forge and also the head of steam this site has built up over the past few months, so thought I'd throw these ideas out there - what do you guys think? :)
Take care... :)
