Unreleased 4" Figures?!

I came across this picture, does anyone know anything about the Tygra, Grune and Slithe??

I don't understand how they could do this not release these toys no I've never seen these were did u find the pic at I wish they would get off the pot and let some one release the rest of the toyline are something we deserve that much at least please let me no were you got this pic from thank u

They are prototypes, pre release, so obviously changed.
At least we got all figures in that picture, admittedly slightly different.

I was really hoping for monkian and jackalman to be released, no proto pictures have surfaced.

I never knew Bandai had some prototype "ThunderCats" figures. The Tygra and Grune figures are the most interesting to see because of how both characters appeared in the first two episodes of the show.

Was this pic taken from GameStop's site? I see they are selling a 4" figure "Chosen at Random" with this pic up. Not sure how this works and odds are you would get one of the figures that have been warming the shelves. Does anyone have an info on how this sale works?

Ya, thats the first I have seen of them too. Are these supposed to be newer figures? If not it is surprising that no one has ever seen these before. Seems odd that Gamestop would have them and nowhere else...

i am definitely interested, but something tells me this might be a mistaken photo or just a promo. The one they are selling must the usual tygra

It's interesting that they chose to give Slythe a weapon in the prototype, but removed it in favor or some kind of smashed barrel in the real figure. I like that Tygra also. I would definitely buy that version, and that version of Grune.

has anyone attempted to purchase figures from Gamstop ?? if so what figure did u get??

Don't bother trying. People on others boards have tried and called in. That's just a stock photo as far as we can tell. Anyone that ordered got the regular set that was in stores.

I'm just curious where that stock photo ever came from. If those aren't photoshop pictures then there might actually be some of those prototypes out there.
