Nice! Can't wait to see close ups of the final version.

As for the HH site, it does not surprise me, unfortunately. Cheetara is still listed as a Q2 release, which Q2 ended over a month ago if my math is right. Ben-Gali is still listed as a August/September release (which could still happen, but I'm not holding my breath). And it took them over a week to fix the Mumm-Ra page after it randomly stopped working.

I know there were a ton of setbacks in the Cheetara process, but I have a strong feeling those delays have caused delays for both Ben-Gali and Mumm-Ra as well, but no updates to let collectors/buyers know for sure.

Cheetara it takes forever to be released! Almost 7 months after Lion-o. And most likely this will also affect the rest of the line. In my calculations i'd say Cheetara-September, Bengali-October, Mumm-Ra -November/early December

About Tygra i am also interested in the final size, BBTS hasn't described it yet, i expect him to be 13"-14" like Lion-o, the others are a bit smaller.

I am going to guess he's going to be 11-12 inches tall. Only reason Lion-O is so tall is the big base and long sword. Tygra has small base and whip looks to be about 1 inch higher than his head. So I am going to guess body is about 10 inches like Ben-Gali, and 1-2 inches higher for the whip.

Yeah, getting an updated release schedule is like getting a sane person to willingly have 10 root canals done in a single sitting... My personal guesstimates are about the same as yours; 4 statues released in about 5 months to get back on schedule.

Do such pre-orders are reliable?
I'm asking because nothing was placed in the Hard Hero homepage.
As happened in other situations, in the Bengali case for example.
Could someone ask for Mr. Potts?
Thanks.

I've already asked Rob Potts over at Hard Hero, am waiting on his e-mail reply.

Cheers,

Sorry yes I did, just recently. Apparently they're still waiting on final WB approval to put Tygra up on the Hard Hero website. Rob didn't say specifically, but I guess BBTS jumped the gun and posted the Tygra up for pre-order early.

They're a major store and they're obviously working pretty closely with Hard Hero.

I agree, BBTS probably just jumped the gun. But I noticed they have replaced the original image (black background) with a new one:

Shame they didn't change the incorrect colour scheme - but a great sculpt nonetheless.

I don’t know.
Honestly, why so much delay in the official launch of the statue?
I know that nothing is so simple.
But, that way the license from Hard Hero will end before a new piece sees the light of day.
This statue is simply amazing.

I think that white background image is just a photoshopped version of the black background image from Hard Hero. If there were any changes to the colour scheme since the prototype that we saw at SDCC then we probably haven't seen them yet.
