Tygra ThunderCats Classics Mattel

OK Guys, what look do you prefer for Tygra in the new Classics line from Mattel ?

in other words what Toy version do you prefer the most .... the Cartoon pic is just there as a reference.

I am somewhere between the Mezco and Pop Culture Shock one ...

The cartoon version, naturally.

The original cartoon look is what they were all trying to capture. It's strange how no company really successfully pulled it off.
If the Mezco hair was combined with the Pop Culture face it would be somewhat close to the cartoon.

Original cartoon or Bandai. I feel those two are vey similar. Young Tygra would be a cool variant later down the road.

Why would they bother making a young Tygra variant? The only reason there was two Tygra's originally was because LJN was not happy with the sculpt of the first figure.

I know, it doesn't really make sense...just as a nod to the toyline...but yeah. not needed.

As others said, I would prefer they stay as close to the original cartoon as possible!

The original cartoon for me as well although I wouldn't mind if it looks more like the Pop Culture one. Out of all the toylines I think he looks the closest.

You might get lucky with Tygra and Mattel might do what they did with the MOTUC He-Man head. ;)

I agree with you Gerrit - a mix between the Mezco and Pop Culture figure - but without that horrid grin. Or that nasty teeth!! :) I am however very optimistic that Mattel will get him just right!!!!! Cannot wait.:tygra

with what we have seen upto now i think mattel will do a good job on him .

I'd like the animated version. BTW the BanDai Classic Tygra has a pretty nice face sculpt, but the paint job kinda missed the mark on most figures. And the Tygra statue from Hard Hero is pretty awesome with a great likeness:

I've got to vote for the cartoon version as well. That Hard Hero statue really looks great!
