Could you have a look from dead on, with the kittens and Tyrgra stood straight and tell me how they look in comparison to the scale in this production image please? I'm wondering how well the kittens will fit in with my Bandai based customs.

The will fit in perfectly with your custom figures. (Man I wish I had your custom figures!!!) To be honest, I'm a little worried how they will look scale wise with the upcoming 6" line. In comparison to Tygra, they are a 100% match. In comparison to Mumm-Ra 6" Classic, they look fine posture wise, the only thing that is odd is of course the fact that he has a smallish head, but other than that they fit him good, but Tygra better. Comparing them to the 6" 2011 Panthro, he looks weirdest. Their heads are bigger than his and they look like big dwarfs in comparision to his size. But then again, the 2011 line always looked like "thin" / supermodel type versions against my LJN line. I think the kittens will fit in well with the LJN line posture wise. So maybe they will fit well with the upcoming 6" line and not look like 17/18 year old twins or hobbits in comparison lol. Once I get my Lion-O's I'll post an updated photo of all the Classics together (the one is arriving on Friday).

That is a super exciting way of being notified that the kittens are there. And yes, I also got mine in that Mattel branded box. While standing at the counter of the post office I saw the gent taking out a box with Mattel branding on it. I didn't want to believe it, but it was my kittens (since the post slip didn't reveal what the package was). I'm storing that branded box because its quite unique I have to say. If anybody wants to see it, let me know and I'll share a picture. It originally had 2 sets of kittens in (got only one though). And I agree, it's actually a scary way to promote what's inside and an easy target for somebody to snatch it. I was lucky phew.

Poor fellow Booshman! Sorry that you have to wait so long. At least the kittens will keep me busy until I like you get my collection in Dec/Jan. it's horrible but then again, I see it as a huge Xmas gift with 5 figures opening at once. Thrilled! (and much cheaper to post so I can spend on other cats lol)

Yeah I'd rather wait than pay for loads of postage.

In the meantime, could you post a picture of your customs together so we can see what it could've looked like? I have seen them separately but would like to see them grouped. I really want your Bengali and Jaga!

I really want to wait until I get the kittens. I was going to wait until I made some, but I think these might have saved me a job.

I think they might've saved you. My kittens look so brilliant next to the Tygra and Mumm-Ra. My Red Lion-O is arriving tomorrow, so I'll take a photo of him with the gang, but here's what they look like now (I took the 2011 figures out from the display). They are a fabulous match!

It looks amazing. Hopefully mine will be here by Saturday. Can't wait to use the background with the other mattel TC line.

Same here. It will be extremely hard to wait but I had to save some money somehow.

Surprised how well these go together, although I suspected that they may....hmm, if someone has two sets of the Thunderkittens they could have two different set-ups. 1 set up will be missing Tygra. 1 set up will be missing Panthro. Both sets will be missing Cheetara (at least for now).

Got my set today and I'm very happy with it! Great sculpts and very vibrant colors. TNo paint or quality issues and the inbox poses are very well done and displays nicely. Also love the spaceboards!



Nitpicks include:
-Wilykat's sleeve
-The images of Wilykat are mirrored
-The poorly executed graphic on the back; the adult ThunderCats stock "Mezco" images stuck in front of Cats' Lair are laughable
-The apparent 2011 reboot bio on the back, that mentions WilyKat's grappling hook and Wilykit's hypnotic flute (???)

Also, they seem pretty tall, I'm very curious to see how they will look next to an adult ThunderCat. As mentioned, the look great with Bandai's Tygra, but he stands 8". If the TC adults are the same scale as the MOTUC, 6"/7" I dont know if it will look good...

I was wondering the same thing. When I saw some pics of the twins next to the Bandai Classic 8 inch Lion-O figure, they look in scale. But how will they look next to the Mattel 6 inch figures? Maybe someone who has the MOTUC figures and place the two side-by-side and post some pics. :)

Do you plan to custom color the sleeve to the correct color? It would look nicer

At last my Bandai Lion-O 8" (normal version) arrived, so I'm posting this one as the final photo to show the lot together. I'm also very confused as to the scale size of the kittens with the new upcoming line. I won't be able to see them until end of the year - when somebody gets their Lion-O next month, would they mind sharing it on here for the rest of us to see? I agree - if you had 2 sets, the kittens can be used on both the Bandai and Mattel lines. Personally I'll be mixing up mine as the Mumm-Ra fits in scale wise and I will just pose the other 8" figures with bended knees to look more in scale.
