Thundercats Ultimates Updates

Taken from Bryan's own words Fwooshcast Ep. 73:
1. Thundercats Wave 6 is going to be back up for preorder this week.
2. Thundertank shipping from the factory in October.
3. SDCC exclusive (we now know this is frozen Lion-O)
4. Something coming in August.
5. Something coming in October.
6. Wave 7 coming in November. This is going to be back to animation inspired wave.

Lots to speculate!

Good to hear things will get moving again. I'd love for them to preview something at SDCC.

Brian did say they want to reveal everything for the rest of the year all at once.

Wave 6 is back up for preorder as of yesterday and it's still the same.

I’m assuming that one of the “somethings” is a wily kit/Kat 2 pack.

I just hope that when Super7 re-releases the Kittens, they don't pack Snarf or Snarfer with either of them. That would be a slap in the face to those of us who already purchased the Kittens through Mattel. I'm OK with 'Kit and 'Kat getting some new accessories, but not with them coming with Snarf and/or Snarfer.

Keep in mind though that the Mattel WilyKat has that incorrectly colored shoulder. I'd look to replace mine for that reason alone. I also think their faces could be sculpted better.

Not really considerig a lot of people didn't get Kit and Kat because they were SDCC exclusives and Kat's sleeve was the wrong colour and the face paint apps and Kit and Kat could have been better done.

...what makes you sure that Super7 wont make the same mistake? or better paint apps?...because i am not....we all said wave2 old factory cq issues ... new factory same shit

I didn't say they wouldn't make the same mistake. I would be surprised if they didn't LOL.
I just meant I don't think people would care having to buy Kit and Kat to get Snarf or Snarfer.

I understand all those issues. But my point was, for those collectors who already have Kit and Kat, sticking Snarf or Snarfer in with them, thus forcing them to re-purchase, is a jerk move. I'm fine with a Kit and Kat re-release and in fact think it's very necessary. Just pack Snarf and Snarfer separately, please.

I was going to say £50 for a Snarf and Snarfer 2 pack is a lot but then I recalled the priced and size of those Disney figures. I guess they could make the 2 figures and include a lot of accessories like a sword stand etc.

No it would not be a slap in the face Wakko The Mattel Kit & Kat was a SDCC exclusive pop up Diorama 2 pack boxed set and Super7 won't make theirs that way

I have the Mattel figures and Super7's have a different shading of color to theirs, Thats how they will tackle Kit & Kat and if snarf & snarfer come with them so be it because I'll still buy them. Super 7's Kit & Kat will be different enough so that it won't be a slap in the face

I have started collecting some the Super7 Ultimates figures. :)

Right now Entertainment Earth has Snowman on sale for $27 and Captain Cracker for $23 in case anyone was on the fence about those 2.
