After much searching I recently found this Thundercats Nabisco Poster that I had from my childhood. If I remember correctly I won this through bubble yum gum. Unfortunately I had put tape on the corners when I was a kid to hang it in my room, but I am very happy to have found it! I have only seen one other of these (which recently sold on ebay) and was wondering if anyone else remembers these or owns one currently?

Though there's no love for WilyKit and Vultureman in the poster, it's still pretty awesome.

Thanks. Ya I have no idea why WilyKit was omitted. I could possibly see Vultureman as he wasnt present at the very beginning of the series.

He first appeared in episode 13 of the 1985 series.

Ya, it was just the only reason I could come up with why he may have been missing.

When I was a kid, I lived on Bonkers candy, and I remember going to Revco and seeing the humongous ThunderCats candy display/standee with boxes in it that held candy (Life Savers, Bubble Yum gum, and Bonkers candy). The back of the standee resembled your poster if memory serves, and it also had one of those pads with entry slips taped onto it. (seeing as companies had to make it so no purchase was necessary)

I'm not sure how you got the poster, I gather that since you won it you had to get a winning label? The grand prize for the contest was the entire line of ThunderCats toys from LJN, including Cat's lair, but I'm not sure how many sets of grand prizes there were.

I don't know if Life Savers had it printed on their labels, but I distinctly remember that the chocolate flavored Bonkers candy in particular had the ThunderCats logo printed on the outer wrapper detailing the contest, and on the inside of the label, you learned if you won anything or not.

That's a beautiful poster, and you're one lucky cat to have one! All the ones I've seen are very rare, fairly rough, and go for anything from $50.00 to a $100.00 dollars.

Interesting, I dont remember the displays. I would love to get my hands on one of those!

My poster came from a pack of Bubble Yum. If I remember correctly one of the individually wrapped pieces of gum had a yellow wrapper which signified the win. I believe you just had to send it in and the poster came in the mail. I didnt realize what the grand prize was. That would have been fantastic!

While we are one the subject I noticed a Life Savers with a Thundercats contest label on ebay the other day. I am not positive, but I believe it is the same contest...

As it turns out, I was extremely wrong about what the ThunderCats Bubble Yum/Life Savers/Bonkers contest standee looked like.

I stumbled upon this.
