I am pretty unfamiliar with Loyal Subjects. So these are blind box items? If so thats kind of a bummer. I like these and will probably buy them either way if I have the money, but I prefer to know what I am getting.

Also, do they come in multiple sizes?

Yeah they are blind boxed and they retail between $12-$15 a piece.

I could be wrong but I believe that Lion-o is the prototype. As far as I know they only make the figures in one size.

Yeah that Lion-O is what they call a 2-Up prototype. (I think)

Heard that large Lion-O is going to be the SDCC exclusive.

Also, cant wait for the Thundercats Club 28, chases, and single Gold. :frown:cry:cautious:mummra

I hope they can make the main character roster like Minimates.

For some of their toy lines, they release the regular small figures and then big ones, like 8" tall.

Yes, at least the core Thundercats! Almost every line omits someone.

Ya I thought that was the case for TMNT.

I might start collecting the Loyal Subjects figures as they are doing some really cool properties I am a fan of. TMNT, Thundercats, MOTU, Transformers and G.I. Joe. They are even doing Power Rangers. Not really a fan of them anymore but they look pretty good. :D

Am I the only one that thinks the coloring on Lion-O's face looks really weird? The parts around his eyes and mouth are too bright and it clashes with the flesh tone of the rest of his skin and makes them stand out way too much. Almost makes Lion-O look like he has a yellow beard.

Otherwise these look pretty sweet.

If anyone from Loyal Subjects reads this, if you have Flesh tone skin, you need the lighter parts to just be pale flesh tone. They should only be yellow if you're doing the orange/tan version of Lion-O's skin.

Totally agreed, balgus. The sculpt is nice, but the paint blends need to be a lot smoother. The yellowish and flesh tones should be much closer in color for a super smooth transition. Otherwise, the Panthro looks great and from what I can see of Cheetara, she looks awesome, too.

Looks like they fixed the colors on Lion-O. Good enough for me!

Edit: looking closer at the glove made me realize this is a CG render and not the actual figures. Still, I hope this is the coloring they go with for production.

The design of the clawshield is awful. The hand is coming out through it and it's fur textured.

I think its just because its a cg render. I doubt the designer picked up on that. It would be horrible if it were actually really like that!
Do you guys think they'll make kit & kat and perhaps Snarf? Can't see if the scale will be an issue.

The hand is sticking out only because it's a CG render. No actual figures I've seen have been like that.

Good CGI for Lion-O and Panthro.

It's a really strange rendering of the hand and clawshield. I would like to think no toy would be designed like that but considering some of the really questionable choices I have seen in some toy lines it wouldn't surprise me.

What do you spy with your little eye?

#58
I see all 4 mutants, Snarf, and a Mummy Mumm-Ra.

Nice reveals!! I got all of the SDCC glow in the dark Cats and Mumm-ra, and I love these guys! I collect the MOTU, Turtles and GIJoe Loyal Subjects stuff, so I was super excited by the announcement of Thundercats. Knowing that we are getting the Mutants and Snarf, and even Mummy Mumm-ra is awesome! I wonder if Jaga or the kittens could be in this series as well.... Most of their sets usually have 10 or 11 characters, so there may not be room in this wave for them. I'd love if they could go ahead and get the kittens out this time too though. Really glad that Vultureman is included too!

Cool. A few more and these will almost have as many characters as the minimates line.
