THUNDERCATS by brutikong

As a new member and hoping to contribute to the growth and legacy of the franchise I started working on some Thundercats related ideas.
Initially intending to create some statues or character busts, I have to rethink my goals after reading the kinetiquettes thread. My heart sank a little as it seems there is not much appetite for that content and it appears original designs seem to be favored over anything new.

These are some works in progress for the lunataks and a turnaround of Monkian.

Blockout of TugMug

The Lunataks never really got developed to their full potential.

I had forgotten about them altogether until I started this project. The character designs are just awesome, they didnt register with me as a kid but now I see the genius behind it. I imagine a cross between Mad Max and the Joker. They are very exciting to work on. I cant wait to do Chilla next.
Is there a most requested character list on this site somewhere?

Ya I feel as though they started out being portrayed as menacing and a legitimate threat but they quickly became incompetent like the mutants.

A very interesting take on them I must say. Well done! Would love to see Chilla. I would say from what I've read many on here love Chilla the most of all the Lunatacs. She and Alluro are my favourites.

I think I have enough blockouts at this point. I am going to start rolling back around and start the second pass on a couple of them.

Rataro's is looking nice! I like the facial features.
