ThunderCats at Wondercon

Can any of the team make it to Wondercon this sunday? :) Let me know as I can get you press room access to report for this site! ;)

That's in San Francisco, right? That is on the Southern West Coast of USA. I'm in Virginia (middle of East Coast), which is a 3 day drive to California. Purrsia is in Michigan (middle of Northern border), which I think is a 2 day drive to there.

If it would be something in Virginia or Washington DC I could easily go. Maryland, West Virginia, or North Carolina would be possible, depending on day, time, and exact location.

Edit: Correction, I got Michigan mixed up with Minnesota... Purrsia is about the same distance away as me. So unless she already has plans to be in that area over the weekend, I don't foresee either of us being able to go.

Once again i wish i could be present but in the country i come from i am bound to miss the good action:(.

You could ask some Forum members, i bet some will go, everyone here did such an incredible and extensive cover of the 2011 Thundercats show and toyline at the past events.

I like Lordore's idea, maybe throw it open to the folks on the forums and ask whether anyone would like to be ThunderCats Lair's "roving reporter" for the event in exchange for press room access and a shout-out on the front page? :)

I'd suggest making it "first to shout out gets it" so that no one feels as though someone else has been picked over someone else! ;) Also, maybe throw it to the first two (if the press room access will allow more than one individual from the same site?) rather than just one person, so that way if one falls through you're hopefully covered with the other one! ;)

Like your idea Chris...don't think anyone on the team is or will be anywhere near there but I'm sure some board member may be and willing to help. I like to say, never hurts to ask! :)

I posted in the existing Wondercon thread, but might be a good idea to make a board annoucement asking about it as well? ;)

I would love to go to that, but with being in NY that wont happen. I agree opening it up to the members might be the best way to approach that.
