Hi everyone, sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere...
I am interested in Thundercats animation art from the original series. Animation cels, production drawings, anything of this nature. Are there any trusted sources for this kind of stuff? I am interested in Rankin/Bass productions artwork in general, TigerSharks, SilverHawks, The Hobbit etc etc. too.
Thanks!

There are some high-res scans on DeviantArt by user Curious4ever. Apparently, he knew Leonard Starr.
I found a pack of dozens of SilverHawks production drawings ("settei"), which I ordered copies of. A few scans of those can be seen on my Gab page, where I was working out a method for gauging the physical strength of the characters based on the size of their muscles. The ThunderCats drawings are (or at least were) out there, too, as they're common as low-res scans on fan sites, but I've yet to hear back about getting in touch with the source for high-res ones.
If you do find a settei pack for ThunderCats, please let me know. I'd be glad to split the cost with you, if it's reasonable.

Look for the Leonard Starr Appreciation Society on Facebook. Run by the same guy. Very nice fella, Lioconvoy did an interview with him for Iconicon last year, great video.

Curious4ever was interviewed in the video, or do you mean someone else? Happen to have a link? (I know this is sort of asking for special treatment, but if there are resources on Facebook or other "big tech" sites, would you mind re-posting the media here? In my case, it's not just an ethics issue, but a practical one -- FB requires JavaScript, not to mention forking over loads of private information just to get an account. Lots of people, though perhaps still a minority, are getting wise to how bad an idea that is, yet they feel trapped between a rock and a hard place when it comes to getting useful info and participating in current discussion.)

James AKA Curious4ever was interviewed. As mentioned its on Lio's channel listed as part of his ICONICON content from last year. This years ICONICON is soon approaching to look out for those videos too, there was so many great videos and streams by various channels last time and I'm sure this years will be just as good.
This video was a definite highlight:
I'm not going to repost stuff from the Leonard Starr Appreciation Society here. A lot of it you have seen on DA, much of what is posted to FB is Leonard's "On Stage" and "Orphan Annie" comics.

Where did you find the Silverhawks settei for purchase? How can I find your Gab page? Thank you!

Thank you everyone for the helpful replies. I found a few cels on ebay, pretty pricey. I'm going to keep an eye out for more production art, pencil drawings are of particular interest to me. Hopefully some opportunities to get some nice work from the original show turn up. Thanks!
As for my Gab page, I'm considering making an index post to list pertinent posts by topic. Until then, you can browse the hashtags in my profile description there: https://gab.com/1F409
Note that my posts to Gab are just snippets of my various works in progress. If anyone happens to take a shine to any of the role-playing game adaptations or 3-D architectural plans, I'd be happy to discuss/brainstorm about them.
