In Mechnical Plague, mummra appears in a barren desert on third earth with red sky and frequent lightning, when he summons the previous monsters of the past. What location is that desert??

On Third Earth its Desert of Phosphorus and the Desert of Sinking Sands. These are located near Mumm-Ra's pyramid.
