Team meeting on Skype this week!

This week I have been in contact with MannyF and he would like to speak to us on Skype. It is very important that we are all there.

Manny says he will work around our schedules. Personally I am quite flexible so any time between 2pm-10pm UK time is good for me on any day.

That is 7pm-3am ET I believe and 1pm-9pm European time (I think!)

It would be good if MannyC, Chris and Mark would attend) I think Nick, Kyle and Matt will be ok to sit this one out if they choose, however they are welcome to attend.

This is being done this week without fail so I'm afraid anyone who can't make it, will not have a say on any decisions made from the meeting. Apologies for this sounding harsh :(, but this is something that Manny doesn't want to procrastinate on........(and to be honest neither do I!)

Please post when your available so we can nail down a time ;)

The biggest potential problem I have is that I don't yet have Skype installed on my new Macbook - I don't forsee it being a major issue as I can download it, but I'd want to give myself a bit of breathing room to make sure it works OK, etc. I'd hate to go into an important Team Meeting and have the technology fail on me! :P I think realistically the earliest I could do would be this Saturday (any time) if that's any good? :)

Alternatively next week (Monday 24th - Sunday 30th), the only day I definitely can't do is Wednesday 26th, as it stands I unusually have nothing at all booked in on any of those dates. Monday 24th or Tuesday 25th would be absolutely ideal for me. :)

I'd love to have a Team Meeting and think there are some important things on the table to discuss, I'm really sorry that my still getting my Mac set up is potentially causing a bit of a delay! :(

Damn forgot I go out Saturday afternoons! I can still do saturday, but it would have to be from 5pm UK time (no earlier than that) Is that ok for everyone else?

Yeah, that would be right in the slot for me, time to have my middle of the day meal, chill out for a bit and then have a chat - sounds good! :)

Anytime between 6:30 PM and 10 PM European time is good for me. Whatever you guys come up with I'll be there so long of course as it is between those times.

So I think we can go with:

UK time: 5.30pm
European time: 6.30pm

Euro timezone is one hour ahead of UK right? :confused:

I believe that is 1.30am in the morning for MannyF! :eek: Hopefully with it being the weekend he can accomodate us on this...

There was a bit of confusion on my part....:( as I got the time zones wrong! However the good news is that it doesn't effect the times posted above.

So it's now confirmed that the meeting will take place this saturday (22nd January 2011) at:

UK time: 5.30pm
Germany time: 6.30pm
USA PT: 9.30am
USA ET: 12.30pm

Im on Skype now if anyone wants to test the audio. By the way I briefly spoke to Kyle and he will not be able to make it. I eblieve he leaves tomorrow for the states so he will be spending today with family and friends before leaving

Hey MannyC, I'd love to take you up on this as have just installed Skype on my new Macbook and have yet to try it out - if you can give me a few minutes, if you're still about I'll be online to test everything works OK! :)

I've also been speaking to Kyle and had already figured he probably wouldn't be able to make the meeting because of his trip to San Francisco. Looking forward to catching up with the rest of you guys, should be good! :)

I'm going to leave my Skype on but I'll be watching the Manchester City/Aston Villa football/soccer match on television. I've just forgotten about that, so major apologies. However, I can briefly come on around half time and any text convo I'll be able to pick up.
