Cool concept. Will try to get one. If based on the new Lion-O sculpt, then it sure was a good investment for them.
#3
Kind of cool! Where do you buy it?

Their SD comic con booth. Flynn said remaining ones will be sold on their website the Monday after SDCC.

Interesting SDCC Exclusive Hook Mountain Ice color changing Lion-O and it looks to be the Pinless Lion-O buck. It would make for some great pictures this winter along with Snow Man of Hook Mountain.
#6
What a chilling exclusive figure that has to be.
#7
Oh great! More Lion-O!

I'm also guessing this is not $45 anymore.

They haven't been $45.00 for a while They became $55.00 starting with wave 5

If Super 7 had actually listened to the fans they could have made a new body for Lion-O to make him taller and give him the correct musculature and used it on the Mirror Lion-O, LJN Lion-O and the SDCC Lion-O. Instead they just re-use the same inaccuarte sculpt.

As nice as it looks, I think i'm passing on this SDCC Exclusive. It's really only good to take a picture of Snowman finding Lion-O freezing in the snow after a Mutant attack.
If this was Spirit of Jaga that would be different. I just don't need an Ice color changing Lion-O.

Agreed. It's neat and it's fun and at least it isn't an exclusive we all have to desperately hunt down. But I'll pass on him.

The information on the package is completely wrong. The figure is based on Thundercats Ho Part 2. Not The Ice King Episode.
The people working on Thundercats at Super 7 really should actually watch the cartoon.

No, you are wrong actually. Lion-o was frozen in ice in the ice king episode. And in Thundercats Ho. The figure looks like it was based on either episode.

No I am not wrong. The figure is based on Thundercats Ho Part 2, not Secret Of The Ice King episode.
In Thundercats Ho Part 2 his skin is blue and changes back to it's normal colour.
Lion-O is fozen in Secret Of The Ice King episode but when frozen he looks absolutely nothing like this figures. He looks like he is made of crystal and ice.

I kind of love the way this figure looks, but I just don't have much interest in variants. The coloring on him is really cool (no pun intended).

SDCC Lion-O looks quite cool even though they didn't fix the issues with the sculpt.

It's pretty embarassing an incompitent that they got the information on the packaging wrong.

I rewatched part of the ice king episode and have to agree that the frozen Lion-O in that episode looks more like an ice rock than cartoon hypothermia blue I think the figure was going for.

I really dig the figure and the misprint really does nothing to diminish how cool I think it looks or my intent to buy it. To each their own I guess. I also really dig how cool these variants are (even the wave 6 repaints). But I’m probably not gonna get them all. Super7 variants and accessories can cover some nice easter eggs. So somebody did watch the episodes.
