SITS History and Supplimentary Information

Signal In the Sky was a story I started writing in July 2001. In fact, it was the reason I launched the Tcats site, http://www.thundercatsfans.org"" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Return to Thundera (then called Purrsia's Thundercats Fan Fiction). I figured it was better to self-publish than face possible rejection at other archives - I really didn't think it was good enough for other places. Not sure if that's still true, but I am less afraid of what other people may think of it and take my chances posting it around the different sites now.

SITS promises to be a long epic (roughly 90 or so chapters estimated), and after a few years I fell behind in keeping up with regular chapter postings, with the fan site growing as it did and getting into another fandom (Voltron). I thought about rewriting the first dozen or so chapters, too, in an effort to bring them to the style of writing I tend to use now but I've yet to find the time to do that as it should be done. So many ambitions, so little time.

Writing picked back up when http://www.thundercatsfans.org/tcfans/fanfiction/viewuser.php?uid=9"" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Spaced Angel, a fan writer I admired, graciously accepted the invite to co-write the story with me. She's been working steadily since around chapter 20 and has really breathed new life into the tale. I'm excited about it again, and I hope the collaboration has had the same effect on readers. I also highly recommend any of her wonderful stories for good Thundercats reading.

At any rate, there's all kinds of supplimentary info on my website concerning this fic - from artwork, to character profiles, chapter summaries (good for after a long hiatus), timelines, and so forth. Feel free to http://www.thundercatsfans.org/tcfans/SITS/signalfic.php"" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">pop over if you'd like to know more, though it's not necessary if you'd just like to start reading from here. It is also available in http://www.thundercatsfans.org/tcfans/audiochive.php"" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">audio format as well, if you'd rather listen to it on the go rather than sit and read.

Thanks, and I hope you like it.
