SITS Feedback Thread

I plan to post my epic fic here soon, and this thread will serve for any feedback/comments/suggestions/etc readers may have for the story as it progresses. I don't mind concrit at all, so even if there's something that didn't work for you or confused you, I'm up for hearing about it.

I created this thread rather than wishing people to post on the individual chapter posts so that the story chapters aren't being bumped by comments and therefore, thrown out of order.

Hallo Purrsia!

I am Thunderatigress, a new member of TCL. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the epic tale of "Signal in the Sky" that you have been writing. I 've red all its chapters so far. It was breathtaking all through the way! I have many times expressed my admiration about it to my friends as well.
However, Liono's death was something I still can't come to terms with. I was very disappointed at first of the way the story had evolved. It crushed my childhood ideals of the Thundercats being invincible and always there fighting against evil. Of course I realise that in a mature Thundercats story everything is possible, as in real life and so is death.
The story you wrote seemed to me so matching to the Thundercats characters and concept that i grew to consider it as the natural outcome of the Thundercats episodes I have been watching as a child. However, Lion-o's death put an end to my favourite Thundercats team's adventures as I had known them. Could you restore Lion-o back to his family and friends alive? I would really love such an option.
Thank you and your partners in writing SITS, for the great story you have written so far. I am looking forward to reading the next chapter of "Signal In The Sky". I am sure that it will be great as well.

Sorry to have missed this comment until now - I have been swallowed up by mundania and haven't been on my regular message board rounds in some time :eek:

Thank you for taking the time to read and leave comments. I really appreciate the feedback.
I also understand the feelings regarding the plot choice of killing off a main character. It's a very risky move, and I do know it's not been a popular one. For me, part of the fun of fic is to explore things the canon never would (and maybe for good reason!); to explore the really big or risky 'what ifs'

I keep the story most up-to-date at my site's fic archive so I hope you stick with it a little longer. The plot has been sorted out for a long time, and I don't want to say at this point what the plans for Lion-O are for the sake of anyone still reading. All I will say at this point is nobody is ever truly dead in the Tcats universe (ex: Jaga - and surely just because Lion-O is dead in the flesh in the story he has not been absent from the story at all) and it's a magical universe at that. Anything truly is possible!

Definitely a fav of mine. I was sad though that he and Felina never quite got it right. :(
