this is still newsworthy. and at this point, it definitely wouldn't hurt the site to update the front page.

It says starting tomorrow, I really hope the Thundercats exclusive is revealed! So excited to see some actual news/updates.

Agree! the site is very slow to report news, I'm not on facebook, and if I didn't read this thread in here I wouldn't have even known about it! (we previously also complained about updates to the front page, Vivek who is in charge of this ?)

I have a strong suspicion it will either be a red Lion-O, a Jaga & Grune 2-pack or the Wily-twins 2-pack. I doubt it will be the Berbills, but perhaps they bring us a Snarfs multipack. I doubt Mandora will be the exclusive (although it would be lovely).
NOW: who will be going to SDCC to buy us poor souls who's not attending the exclusive? Any takers that want my money???

You will be able to buy it on Matty after SDCC

If anyone wants to pay for me to fly out and attend SDCC I will gladly bring them back the exclusive. ;) :)

Yeah I did, but the question is - will you be able to get it in July if the sub only kicks off in September? I believe that in the past it didn't allow you because your sub wasn't "active" yet. So any MOTUC / Filmation subbers will be able to buy it.

That's a good question. I have other MOTUC subs, so I think I'll be able to get it, but if you're only subbed for Thundercats, I would HOPE that Matty would allow you to get the exclusive. that would be a pretty big kick in the pants right off the bat if they don't allow it.

as for today! I hope we see something awesome for Thundercats!

I couldn't agree more. Because it's been Friday on this side of the globe for over half the day and its almost 4pm, it's horrible waiting and waiting for it to be Friday in the US. (Ok sure, it is already Friday there by now). But I just checked that they usually post at about 6pm on this side of the globe, so only 2 hours or so left until they are likely to reveal something!!! I can't go to bed tonight not knowing if there's TC news....
As for subbing - I subbed only for the TC line but with a friend who already subbed for the Filmation line, so he will be eligible. Hopefully they won't limit it to only 1 per person! Otherwise I'll be crying myself to sleep since my bank account will begin to despise the notion of forking out triple the price to an ebay seller.....

The SDCC exclusives have always gone on sale on Mattycollector after the con, usually the first week of August. I'm not sure how it works if the subscription is not active yet though.
Hopefully the exclusive will be revealed soon...come on Wilykit & kat.

I've been checking Matty's Facebook and Twitter all day! Usually I'm a pretty patient man, but not today! I figure it will be ghost Jaga, but I would LOVE it to be something totally unexpected and amazing!

While I'm not in charge of it, having a post saying "an announcement of the figure might happen Friday, but we really don't know" just seems kinda redundant instead of just waiting for the real announcement and posting it then.

I agree. That would be like TNA and GWF wrestling. They have a habit making announcements of a big announcement coming soon. Then that announcement is that they have a really big announcement to announce soon. True story.
