Hi I have recently started collecting Thundercats. Was a huge fan when I was a child and am now pretty much obsessed with anything to do with Thundercats. Just wondering if there are any fellow collectors in Scotland and if so does anyone have any advice on where to buy the best classic figures etc?

I'm not in Scotland, just across the water in Northern Ireland.
The best place to try is EBay or look around second hand shops.
If you Google some vintage toy shops that sell Thundercats you can get some there but some online shops have pretty high prices.

Thanks have bought a few of the old figures already am mostly concentrating on the new series at the moment because they are cheaper and easier to find the main problem im finding with ebay is the condition of the figures as they never seem to be in quite as good a condition as they look online

Getting the New Series stuff should be quite easy. A while back Home Bargains were selling full cases (12-14 figures) of the 4" basic figures for £12 online.

Yes, if you like variants (as I do) then there is lots of fun to be had!

If you like the 2011 cartoon the 4" and 6" figures are well worth collecting.

I was in a shop earlier this year and seen the Tower for £8 and I was stunned. I was tempted to get it, but even at it's current Amazon price of £13 that's still not bad considering it was £40.

Its amazing how low the prices went on some of this stuff. I remember the 4" figures being $3 and the Thundertank being $5 near me before they pretty much completely vanished from stores.

A shop chain here in the UK called Home Bargains was selling the basic figures for £2 each or a full case of 14x figures for £12. I think I should have bought a case when I had chance LOL.

I vaguely remember that as well. I was seriously tempted, but I believe shipping was more than I wanted to pay to the US.

Yes the postage here in the UK goes by weight. As a friend of mine found out it can be very pricey.
