Has anyone used any cases to protect their 2011 figures or any you can link for me.

Any options would be good

Thanks

Did you find any protective cases? I'm interested also and never bought any for figures before. I imagine some cheaper clear plastic shell will be adequate rather than full on Perspex (thats all I can afford at least!)

Sadly I've not found anything yet but lets hope someone can help.

I was wondering if anyone had any more recommendations for plastic protective cases for the 4" line. I am planning on keeping them MOC and was looking for something on a budget. I took a look at the link mentioned, but I didnt see anything specifically for the 4" Thundercats and they seemed a bit pricey. I noticed some on Amazon and Ebay mentioning Star Wars and Starting Lineup, but wasnt sure if any would fit properly.

Try the lord of the rings style case from zoloworld for the 8" line. I'd recommend measuring the dimensions and checking some of the case dimensions on the site to see what fits yours.

Thanks for the info. It sure seems like cases are really expensive, especially when taking into account how much the figures themselves cost.

Well in the past i had purchased quite a few protective cases from Zoloworld to place in my Vintage Thundercats MOCs and i was very content.
On the other hand i am not very happy with the 2011 Thundercats toys, so i don't know if its worth while to purchase cases for them...

Resurrecting an old thread, but for good reason. I've been perusing eBay for protective cases tonight and am just astonished at how exorbitant the prices are for these. The lowest price I could find for a potential MOC case was $2.70 ea. shipped, but used and only enough for 10 figures. Well, I observed the name of the manufacturer, ProtectoPak which led me >>http://www.protectopak.com/"" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HERE<<.

Item #'s BB7006, 70012, and 70090(Universal Action Figure ProtectoPak) have the most potential. They're all the same, having identical dimensions of 6 x 9 1/16 x 2 3/16 but come in varying quantities with the last two digits of each number identifying the quantity. That said, here's a breakdown of cost without figuring in shipping as that would differ for all of us:

Quantity and price:

6 = $2.41 ea.
12 = $1.62 ea.
90 = $1.43 ea.

70090 would be the most cost effective, but perhaps a bit over zealous for some. I'm going to check the dimensions on my figures tomorrow and if all goes well, will likely pursue the twelve. I'll be back to update if the numbers are right.

If you end up purchasing these please let me know how they fit and post any pictures you might take. Thanks!

Ok, so I was going to get some of these ProtectoPak storage/display cases and wow, cost for shipping sucks. However, this still remains the best way to secure cases that'll work for our non deluxe 4" figures. Here's how it broke down for me w/shipping utilizing UPS Ground service and again, it may be different for you.

6 = $4.62 ea. (up $2.21)
12 = $2.74 ea. (up $1.12)
90 = $1.83 ea. (up 40¢)

As always, buying in large quantities will yield a better price, but dang, 90?! That's a price tag just south of $165. Is anyone interested in splitting costs for a "bulk purchase" of these?

Wow, that is pretty expensive. That seems to be what I remember from last time I was looking. It is hard to spend that kind of money considering that most of the figures themselves are not very expensive.

Well, I've gone and done did it! I decided to bite the bullet and went for the 12 pack, $32.93 it's cost me, UNGH! I'll let you fellas know how good they are when I get them.

Bumping an old thread but how did these end up working for you?

I also would be interested in the 2011 fans opinions on some protective cases. I am using some solid acrylic cases for my test shots but dont yet have anything for my carded figures.
