After no new members all day, since #24661 - RedEye, we've had 2 in a short period. Considering the vague E-mail threat, we may want to keep an extra on new accounts.
Well done flagging this up - at a glance blais72 looks genuine as he / she has gone to the trouble of listing some genuine biographical details, so at the very least we know they're not a spam bot! ;) Not so sure about the other one, very spammer-ish name IMO.
As you say, well worth keeping an eye on things! :)
Both using hotmail e-mails and both still awaiting E-mail confirmation.
Normally I wouldn't ban them without a bigger red flag. But I'm going to tonight based on using the same IP means a 99% chance it is the same person.

Following the naming convention of other recent accounts by having 4 random characters at the end. I did a preemptive ban.
