Hey fellow mods - had a user message me with the following questions:

Is there a way I can make myself invisible online? I got a couple pm's from someone that made me feel uncomfortable. Does the ignore feature also make me invisble to a person?



So does anyone know if there's any way he can appear offline to someone on the forums? Thanks.

Depending on the situation, I would also consider a short ban. But that depends on how high on the creepy and/or nasty bar the PM was. Unless this is a feud between 2 people, I doubt this would be limited to just one case.

I think it needs to be addressed so that we don't end up losing members due to someone harassing them.

There is an option in the 'User Cp' to make yourself invisible. If they wish to make a complaint, they need to contact an admin. Forwarding the pm would be a start.

Thanks you two. I'll forward the info to the member and let him know that if the problem still continues to inform an admin along with any details/evidence. For the time being, he has not given me any specifics about the situation other than what I pasted here from his PM, so I'm guessing for now he's just trying to be diplomatic and avoid the person if possible.
