Well, I think there IS a Mumm-Ra in the same scale as the Classics Lion-O and Tygra so... List is updated! :)

I know there are a number of variants. These range anywhere from packaging variants to variations in the figures. The Thundercats symbol Grune and a few different variations to the 4" Tygra come to mind. I am not positive about the Thundertank, but I believe there was packaging differences.
You may want to start with the following thread for research and please share any variations you may find as I am always interested!
there wasnt a 8in Classics Mumm-Ra, all we got was Lion-O and Tygra
and im pretty sure the 6in Cheetara was Wave 2, she came out significantly later than the wave 1 figures, and was supposed to be released as running case mixes along with Tygra (who eluded most of us)

Cheer guys
I need a storm charger and slythe and I think that's me done for the normal stuff
As for Variants the main thing I heard about was some have a Cartoon Network logo on some don't
Don't know what difference really is
Tygra classic has an alternate packaging too
I know of the grune variant and need that too

4" Deluxe Panthro is also missing from the list. Also some Wave 2 figures (including refreshes of Panthro, Cheetara, Tygra etc...) came with a collector card ;)

Old thread I know, but I'm also curious where the deluxe panthro fits in to the scheme of things. I'm also curious if anyone knows what the market value is for this particular figure. Lately on eBay I've seen these going anywhere from $35USD to 60.

I have seen them go for as little as $17, but I would say your price range is pretty accurate. I am still tempted to pick one up myself.

Hi there,
From what I've read, some variants were:
The lenght of Tygra's whip in the 4" range.
The Grune with that alternate chest logo.
The packaging on the Thunder tank (1 blue with missiles and different image of Snarf, and the other grey without missiles)
I think from an earlier post it was mentioned that the cartoon network logo was only on the first wave stuff, but I'm not 100% on that one.
The deluxe panthro was the one released with the metal gauntlets from when his arms were amputated and rebuilt by the Berbils in the modern cartoon series.
I have multiples of many from the modern range but missing some variants. PM me on here if you want to send through your wish list and I'll send you a price and work out postage.
Cheers

Your right there are quite a few variants of this line. Tygra in particular has variants based on whip length, size of eyes, triangle punch vs hook, those that came with trading cards and the CN logo vs no logo. Actually many of these figures were released with different revisions. I really enjoy variants.

I managed to find one for $16.62 shipped MOC sourced from Wexford, Ireland. I'm hoping it's in NM/M condition. Hopefully the postman doesn't drop kick it around before it gets to me.

The metal gauntlet Panthro is indeed a variant, but not a deluxe. The deluxe is this:
From what research I've done, this iteration of Panthro doesn't come with the metal gauntlets, but I wish it did!

Congrats on the purchases techietaichi! I would say that is a very good price for the deluxe panthro.
