Offensive thread?

Liking or disliking the cartoon/toys is fine. But I feel the language and tone used is a bit offensive for the general forums.

What do y'all think?

Thanks for spotting this and dealing with it - at the moment I'm barely on the forums for any length of time, so much going on in my "offline" life! :( Should hopefully be a bit more active as we get nearer to Christmas and things start to wind down... :)

Yeah, I am hit and miss at the moment too.

Missed all the language so no idea what all went on with that, just saw the comments for why deleted.

One comment that rubs me the wrong way is Tygra's response:

I don't mind him saying that this person can see what others think in this other thread, but it's the last line that bugs me for him to write when he isn't a staff member. Personally speaking, I get annoyed on any message board when normal members make moderator comments like that. Anyhoo...

Yep, I'm with you on that 100% - I used to see (and occasionally get) a fair bit of that over at He-Man.Org and it would always rub me up the wrong way! :P Not worth calling him out over though, at least IMO, unless he started to make a habit out of it... :)

(Since this is a non-general public area) It was a thread about Cheetara being a ho, people calling the poster sexist, and the poster telling people who didn't agree with him to leave "his thread".

It was a flame thread just about to get started. But it has turned into a much more civilized conversation now.
