Well, like MOTUC mini subs, it seens we will have only 6 figures in 2016 + sub only Mumm-Ra mummy version...

So, let't try to guess which figures will be released next year !

1- Lion-O (July)

2- Jackalman (August)

3- ? (September)

4- ? (October)

5- ? (November)

6- ? (December)

My guess: Mumm-Ra, Tygra, Vultureman and Cheetara.

Anyone else put off about lion-O's face? I mean as great as line looks with the vibrant colors and great sculpts, I think they dropped the ball when it comes to the character likeness.
#64
It's just a prototype, I'm pretty sure they're going to improve the design and the eyebrows.

But please make sure to let Matty know what you would like to get corrected, join their forums.

I personally contributed to minor changes in Masters of the Universe Classics myself ;)

Yeah, the figures look really great, but I hope Lion-O is revised to look more like the cartoon before release. The face and claw look to be inspired by several other sources than the show itself. Everything else is great tho, can't wait to that Mumm-Ra finished.

Will do

I suppose Mattel misled us when they said "Lion-O and Vultureman." Jackalman will be in Vultureman's place instead. :p

Mattel figures lack scale and the body parts are repetetive. Panthero should be shorter and buffer than others but the figure will not reflect that, I'm sure. Lion-O's face looks strange too. I know it's early, but I just don't want to get my hopes up.

Knock knees Lion-O with bushy eyebrows! Can't wait...

In all seriousness, I love ThunderCats but I really wanted these to be released in retail

That's a shame about the scale. When making customs I've tried to make sure that the scale was accurate.

I think the filmation MOTUC look great, just like they stepped out of the cartoon, I would like this sort of direction taken with the Thudercats line.

A lot of potential here, I like the direction it is going in. However there are some things that need to be tweaked and considered, all of which have already been named somno need for me to revisit them. I know I am jumping the gun and thinking way too far ahead but wouldn't it be nice to see a Cats Lair like they did with the Grayskull?

The Filmation-style He-Man and Skeletor figures are amazing!

When can subscriptions be purchased?

No idea, is that information out yet?

i'm fairly sure we'll see unique sculpts for people like panthro, sssslithe, monkian will probably be the beastman buck, but with elongated unique arms, vultureman should get his own.

kit & kat (if they get there will need unique bucks)

I hope you are right. The shared-parts protocol Mattel kept with the MOTUC's was based on the parts-sharing of the vintage MOTU line. And that was done to keep costs down. Part sharing between ThunderCats characters wont be too difficult, but the Mutants and other non-human (like? noid? ish?) characters is a different story. It usually means figures that warrant unique sculpts are released (much) later in the line.
I'm eager to see how they are gonna pull it off. Unique sculpts cost money.

I am SO pumped!

I wish they'd just use the WWE Elite bodies for this. Better articulation, variety of body types, sturdier and about the same price point.
#77
I wonder if they will release mad bubbler!

I am so excited. :thumbsup::liono
The Lion-o and Jackalman look excellent however I think Lion-O's face needs a little work. They need to lose the square jaw/broad chin as it looks too much like the 2002 comics. I am also not overly keen on the claw shield being so big. It doesn't really look like it did in the cartoon, it looks more like the claw that came with the Mezco Lion-O.

Overall though Mattel have done a great job. I am also really pleased with the MOTU figures, especially the Filmation accurate figures. I will probably get them....along with some other MOTUC figures again. I used to have a couple when the line started but sold them. Now I will have to get some of them back LOL. I will need a few to display with the Thundercats.

The Code of Thundera is most definitely alive.
