NECA is bringing the Heroes in a Half-Shell to San Diego Comic-Con next month with a rather fantastic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles box set which includes 6″ figures of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, Shredder, Krang and two members of the Foot Clan; take a look below…

The TMNT box set will set you back $200, and for those not lucky enough to be attending SDCC, it will also be available to purchase from the NECA website here.

I would love to get these. :D These look amazing but very frustrating as these are possibly the best looking TMNT figures ever, even more than the S.H. Figuarts, but like the Playmates Classics it's another incomplete line of characters. NECA need to make Bebop, Rocksteady, April O'Neil, Casey Jones and Splinter. I wish NECA could do a full 6/7'' line of figures based on the cartoon or the 1990 movie. NECA really are making some amazing toys. There is a lot of TV show and movies I would love them to make figures of like The A-Team, Conan, Bravestarr etc.

I gotta agree. The figures really do look nice, and $200 isn't so steep for 8 figures with accessories. And you are right, no TMNT set is complete without the ones you mentioned, definitely not without Splinter and April.

What I find even more annoying is the fact these excellent figures are only being offered as SDCC exclusives and through NECA's website. I really wish NECA could release them seperately at retail or through their website instead of the small limited release they are getting like last years exclusives. BTWWilycub have you seen the upcoming NECASuperman/Alien comic 2 pack figure? http://news.toyark.com/2017/02/18/toy-fair-2017-neca-dc-vs-alien-predator-239998

Thanks for that link. I hadn't seen those figures. Very nice! I'm glad they went with the original design for the Predator from the first movie. Never been a fan of the blue cowl Batman. Just a personal preference. I guess I grew up with the black/grey and all black Batman so I'm used to seeing him like that. :)

I was never a huge Batman but I was kind of exposed to the three different looks at the same time so I have no real personal preference. I kind of liked them all the same. Oddly enough though if I had to pick a look it would probably be the blue cowl due to the old Batman cartoon and the Adam West show but I also really liked the black and grey look from the animated series.
I am also really liking the look of those Mezco One : 12 figures. http://www.mezcotoyz.com/one-12-collective-dc-universe-superman

I think this is the first time that I've seen a Superman figure with actual fabric for his costume. I don't know why Mezco decided to do this. Usually, tight spandex superhero costumes are almost always sculpted to show all the muscles.

Yes I know what you mean. Personally aside from capes etc I am not to keen on cloth costumes. but in my opinion the cloth costumes give them a real look of class and elegance. The big advantage cloth has over sculpting is it doesn't hinder any of the articulation and covers a lot of the articulation joints. Although I don't think the cloth would be too good if these were to be played with...by children. ;)
I am really liking the Captain America.

I'm really digging this Cap figure! :thumbsup The fabric looks much better on him than on Superman. You do have a point about fabric covering up the articulations, but I guess it works better on bigger scale figures and on some costumes rather than others. Like on Cap it looks really good, but not so much on Superman who has more of a tight bodysuit. It wouldn't work too well on Spider-man either.

And you are right, fabric probably wouldn't last too long if played with by children. :)

I like that the SDCC Shredder has a cloth cape. Cloth capes are awesome.
I must say though my action men figures cloth outfits lasted really well and they got a lot of play outside on grass, sand, water and snow. But yeah I think full cloth outfits work better on larger scale figures instead of 6".
What I really like about that Cap figure is the harness, glove and shield have magnets to hold it on. :D
