Mumm-ra's treasure room in Spitting Image is alike Maftet's temple in The Trial Of Evil.

First, keep in mind that the longer the series went on, the further it drifted from the designs of Leonard Starr. If you believe that all of the episodes must be treated as canon, then you'll eventually run into details that conflict.

Absolutely - after watching the later episodes for the first time, there's a reason I never got them on DVD, just stuck with season 1. The whole New Thundera concept is just wrong, a planet magically re-forming just like that, er, no, not gonna happen. I'm not a huge fan of season 2 but at least that is just a matter of individual taste; seasons 3-4 are more than a step in the wrong direction, they're leaping headlong in that wrong direction!

As for Mumm-Ra's pyramid, the Mutants crashing, he probably has some sort of detection system in place, equivalent to a home burglar alarm but more sophisticated.

In Mumm-Ra Lives Part 5, when the Thundercats went to Darkside to rescue the Wollows and Bolkins, Mumm-Ra detected and told the Lunataks that the Thundercats are on Darkside, where Sky Tomb failed to detect any intruder. Mumm-Ra added that he survived on 3rd Earth for thousands of years, without sensors. See, this is why Mumm-Ra and his pyramid is fully prepared and fully alerted. Well done to the great Leonard Starr.

The inside of Mumm-Ra's pyramid varied depending on how it was written. Part 3 of ThunderCats, Ho! The Movie featured mummified minions of Mumm-Ra's that didn't mess around. The whole of ThunderCats, Ho! put Lion-O through the wringer, and him being mummified at the end of part 3 is especially a frightening scene.

Lion-O's escape from the mummy wrappings in Part 4 is all due to the sun around the treasure tombs and the pyramid. Lion-O's plan to confront mumm-ra face to face has failed. It is a mystery of how Lion-O found out that he has to assault Fire Rock Mountain in order to rescue the Thunderian countrymen.

Lion-O just could've used the Sword of Omens' sight beyond sight to locate Fire Rock Mountain, but of course, because ThunderCats, Ho! needed to be padded out, he never did.

Thundercats Ho is a big test for Lion-O, to free the thunderian countrymen from the clutches of the evil mumm-ra and his minions. Lion-O has had many defeats from Part 1 to Part 5 inclusively. Ma-mutt was formed by mumm-ra's magic from one of the pillars of mumm-ra's tomb Chambers in Part 1.

Very true. :)

The transformation of mumm-ra the ever living in The Doomgaze and Thundercats Ho Part 5 are different, there's no lighting from the ancient spirits of evil. If the ancient spirits of evil do not appear anywhere (which is their weakness), but only in the black pyramid, how come they appear in the sky in The Last Day and Return To Thundera Part 1 and 3?

My guess is that they appear in Mumm-Ra's mind when he's outside his pyramid.

Mumm-Ra's super powers in The Last Day shrinked due to Mumm-Ra's own failure to destroy Lion-O and the remaining Thundercats. If the ancient spirits of evil cannot reach beyond the pyramid, and remain in Mumm-Ra's mind, how did he went into exile by the spirits along with his Mumm-raft in the exile crystal, which looks like Superman villans effect? Again this was undone by the spirits in Return To Thundera Part 1.
Mumm-Ra's new pyramid on New Thundera was built by the spirits, I guess they must salvaged all the pyramid remains on Third Earth.

You forget, Mumm-Ra's new pyramid on New Thundera was built before the old pyramid on Third Earth was destroyed.

The 1st pyramid was built in Thundercubs Part 1, when Thundera was reformed. This pyramid was destroyed in Thundercubs Part 5, all thanks to Mumm-Ra and Lion-O's battle. Mumm-Ra's original pyramid on 3rd Earth was destroyed by Panthro in Return To Thundera Part 1. I hope this clarifies the above.
