This really needs to get going, in live action too. How about josh Holloway for Lion-O?

Personally, I am dreading a live action Thundercats movie. I just don't see how it could be done and done well. I would much rather prefer a animated movie. Seeing what DC animated (Justice League War, Flashpoint Paradox Batman Under the Red Hood,, etc) and even marvel is doing with movies nowadays, I think a Thundercats animated movie would be great. Probably wouldnt happen anytime soon though because of the cartoon being cancelled.

But a live action.... meh, I don't know. Just don't see how it could be done and not be bad. Maybe I am TOO much of a fan and nerd but I am just very weary of a live action Thundercats movie.

I'd like to see an animated "ThunderCats" movie, too.

An animated movie would be awesome! I would take a live action movie as well, but I hope they put some serious effort and the right people on it. Something like that could really go either way.

Animated or Live Action it would need to be based on the OS plot or at least a total new retelling of the origin as I don't think the NS plot was a good starting point for the franchise.

And it would have to wow us fans.

A CGI movie with graphics of the quality of Avatar could work well, provided that it is based on the original series and not the new one. Somehow I just can't picture a live-action version. Actors in big wigs and underwear running around just seems too weird! lol!

With all the 80's animated series being made recently (including Jem which shocked me), I have a strong feeling ThunderCats might be next to be announced!
