Someone over on the Thundercats.ws board has pictures of Wave 2 figures that come packaged with Trading Cards.
Are you sure
All I could find was someone thinking the eye of thundera pack was new.
The thundercats.ws site did have an interesting fake figures set though-new figures in old packaging
Someone over on the Thundercats.ws board has pictures of Wave 2 figures that come packaged with Trading Cards.
I have some of those! I have Mumm-Ra the Ever Living (transformed), Lion-O, Tygra, WilyKit, and Panthro all with trading cards in a sealed clear plastic sleeve. I picked them up alongside some other of the same carded ThunderCats Bandai figures that didn't have the trading cards.
Do you want a picture of them?
I also got a European carded non-robotic Panthro with the triangular shaped hole everyone is talking about, and he only comes with one pair of nun-chucks, all silver. (No blue and red paint on the handles, or the "folded" version)

Very interesting. I would like to see pictures if you find time.

I just noticed the Tygra that comes with the Thunder Racer has a far superior head sculpt compared to the single release.

Here you are! :)
The first one is the European Panthro variant. The back of his card sports English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, and Polish (I think) wording as a description of the show and Panthro's character. As you see unlike the American release, this figure doesn't have the painted nun-chuck handles, or the secondary "Lumpchucks" or "folded" set that fits in a hole in Panthro's hind hip. I like the triangular peg hole as opposed to the hook because of the bending issue.
The last two pictures are the American carded 2011 ThunderCats figures that sport the trading cards inside. There is a special label denoting the inclusion on the front as you can see. I got these from Five Below, and I didn't even notice the cards in the figure bubble until I was at a traffic light.
Made for some interesting looks from fellow motorists.
From what I can tell, the front of the card has the same artwork of the character that is on the card, but their names are spelled in a special font on the lower part of the trading card. I have no idea what is printed on the back. I wonder if Claudus, Cheetara, WilyKat, mummy Mumm-Ra and the others got a trading card too.

Thanks for posting the pics! I really like the foreign card and agree with the triangular hole as opposed to the hooks.
Nice find on the ones with cards. I picked up a figure from five below also but without a card.

Variants
Hey guys
Hope I am posting in the right area
I have wave 1 figures with cn logo
I have wave 2 figures with cards
I also have the wave 1 lion o and mumm ra without cn logo
I have a few European releases (triangle punch)
Does anyone know did the European line have the full 2 wave releases as I think it will be near impossible to find claudus on this card

So I am trying to figure out what all of the different versions of the 4' Basic Tygra are and would really like any feedback...
I believe there are two US/UK waves and the European cards correct? Also, there are a few details that factor into making the different versions (Whether the CN Logo is present, snap tag color, size/style of the eyes, length of the whip, trading card). Having said this here is what I believe to be different versions that exist...
Wave 1
CN Logo, Big Eyes, Short Whip
No CN Logo, Big Eyes, Short Whip
No CN Logo, Big Eyes, Long Whip
No CN Logo, Small Eyes, Long Whip
Wave 2 (Are all of these without CN Logo, small eyes, long whip?)
No CN Logo, Small Eyes, Long Whip, No Card
No CN Logo, Small Eyes, Long Whip, Card
European (Are all of these no CN logo, small eyes, long whip?)
I am assuming the following versions do not exist?
Wave 1
CN Logo, Small Eyes, Short Whip
No CN Logo, Small Eyes, Short Whip
CN Logo, Big Eyes, Long Whip
CN Logo, Small Eyes, Long Whip
I hope this isnt too unclear. Any help is appreciated!

Thundertank Versions?
Hi all,
I was wondering if there are 2 versions of the modern Thundertank from the Bandai range? I have the blue modern Thundertank but have recently seen a grey version which has a significantly different box.

I was just thinking about this again the other day. Could anyone confirm if the grey version was just a prototype box used early on and not actually released for retail?

Guys, just a question, has mumm ra figure the right size? In one episode (when it's shown how he destroyed a Galaxy), he's bigger than the others TC. I don't remember his size in the present time episodes. I think the 6" mumm ra figure goes better with the 4" fihures

I would say the 6" Everliving Mumm-ra and the 4" Mummy Mumm-ra go best with the 4" line personally.
