Modding philosophy

I just (perhaps foolishly) jumped back into the fray in the "ThunderCats are back... in parody form" thread, and I'm wondering if my responses have seemed reasonable to you guys. I'm not looking for backup—just confirmation that I'm not being crazy/biased/too lax.

If anything, you showed too much restrain. You handeled it perfectly fine, I would have banned them all, especially that "Disgusted!" f*cker :x3. Anti-White comments indeed! Is this the Trump effect? :roflmao

Hahaha. They're not my kind of people, that’s for sure. As for the Trump effect, that’s likely true of mumm_ra_rana and ExelArts—they're American. Coptur is British, so I feel like his perception of reverse racism probably predates Trump by a few years. But it's the same thing: straight white men who can't acknowledge racial/gender inequality, much less talk about it, without feeling personally attacked, when their own behavior/language is so much more offensive!

But, yeah, for whatever reason I'm much more comfortable shutting down the conversation and asking them to just STFU than I am banning them altogether.
