Mike Booth, the mastermind behind the 2020 CGI Thundercats intro remake, gives us an early look at his film, Thundercats Justice. Here is the Pre-vis Animation video--basically a barebones rough cut of what we can expect.

While there is some questionable dialogue, including referring to Cheetara as "Cheetira" & Wilykat and Wilykit being called "the children," I'm still super excited to see this fan-inspired project when it's all polished & finalized. What about you?

Pretty sure it takes a lot of long hours & sweat to get things to look this close to the '85 series in a third dimensional context. So, I am grateful to Mike Booth & his team for their hard work over the last several months & their continued effort to bring this unique perspective to TCATS fans all over the globe! #GoTeamMike

Judging from their appearance, my guess is Wilykat & Wilykit may have been around the preteen age of 12 or maybe they just hit 13. I winced at the dialogue in the video because they were obviously skilled enough to have earned the title of Thundercats & were never referred to as "children" throughout the series. Although, the '85 series often put them in childlike, seemingly defenseless scenarios until the rest of the team is called.

I'm not sure if the 2011 series expanded on how Kat & Kit actually became Thundercats; considering those positions are like knighthood on Thundera. Perhaps it was a bloodline thing like Lion-O? Hmm.

I'm pretty sure the 2011 didnt have the thundercats title. kit and kat randomly ran into the Loin-0 and the others, loin-0 allowing them to tag along knowing they can take care of them selfs when they left there home

I saw this as well. I will admit that everything about it is rough around the edges, but I sincerely hope that Mike Booth will truly capture the spirit of the ThunderCats mythos once this fan film is finalized.
