Maybe it is just me, but there's a lot of mature themed conversation in the Talkback threads. I hate to be a stickler, but if we're trying to keep the forum kid/family friendly, some of this probably should be going into the Great Void section. Or maybe I'm just over worrying about the subject matter, kids do seem to be a lot smarter now than when I was a kid.

I havent kept up with the talk back threads but my thought process is that if it is going to raise a question then it ought to belong somewhere else. Its too easy to move things to the great Void that is adult related so please feel free to do so if you think it could raise a question wether it is adult themed or not.
BTW if you do not have the capability to move threads and such then let me know and Ill sort it out for you

I sorted out the mature "what are you doing now" stuff out to put in the one in the Void, so this wouldn't be too different. Just wanted a second opinion before I start pulling the posts about sexuality, hos, etc out. Plus I'll probably run into a couple posts that only need part moved to the Void discussion. I can probably figure out how to do that.

I'm crossing fingers that the questionable topic posts are completely separate from the family-friendly posts. Just dreading the number of posts that will have to be looked at...
But I just saw anatomy parts mentioned in one of the posts, so yeah, it needs to be done :(
NUTS! Made it to 2nd page and and already found one that is fine except it talks about sexism of 1 line. Argg!!
Merged Post:
Where's a wall to hit my head into??? They've already gotten back on topic(s) of sexism, sexist, and gays in the non-void thread. Ugg.

Since the discussion is related to the current ThunderCats series, would it be better to maybe have a mature ThunderCats discussion forum? I'm just thinking that the Void is farther down on the page and not categorized as a ThunderCats discussion forum, people are more apt to stay up top to discuss the show.
Also, has anyone posted in the discussion forum a reminder of rules to explain where the line is drawn with appropriate to inappropriate posts?

I mentioned the topics and vocabulary were getting a bit too mature for the kid/family friendly section and that the more mature stuff was being moved to the Void. Even provided a link. Problem is, I think, that by the time people come back to post that kind of stuff again the discussion has moved to a new page and they don't go back to read the previous stuff.

I'm like that. If I come back and there are several more pages since the last time I posted, I'm less apt to go back and read them all. I'll skim to see if anybody quoted me as a response and then I'll be more apt to look at the most recent posts.

I went ahead and made tonight's Talkback thread. I added a note about mature themed posts need to be made in the Void, and colored it so hopefully it will jump out at people. I also closed the thread so that posts don't start accumulating before the episode starts, so people will hopefully see the first page longer.
NOTE: The thread will need to be un-locked prior to the episode start time. I plan to take care of it about 10 minutes before it starts. But in case something comes up, can someone check that it is unlocked at least 5 minutes before the show starts?

Great stuff with sorting the mature posts out Aero :) Apologies for being around less recently. I've been decorating my stairs and hall, so been very busy in my spare time!
