And in all that time it has done nothing to improve the brand. It just proves that they were able to sell a small amount of toys to its fans through buying multiple subscriptions to support the line and scalpers hoping to make a little profit on EBay. So I doubt Lion-O having a quick sell out will make much difference.
I disagree to some extent that his selling out won't make a difference. I do know that the other MOTUC figures sold out and did "nothing" - but that brand lasted 8 years or so? It must have had to do with the demand for more, right? Selling out just shows there's a demand. And although it won't do anything for Matty, S7 might take this as a good sign that even though they said they want the license, this might just be that extra little push / confirmation that its' the right way to go, and they can use that as a little addition when making their case to Warners in securing the license. There is clearly a demand, no matter how small it is.
